16 Nov 2025: WEST END DEBUT?!

the first time I came to London in 2015, my parents brought me to watch jersey boys in trafalgar theatre. if you told me I would be on that stage 10 years later, I would’ve asked what the charges were for trespassing.

I’m still stuck on the words a month later. how do you describe that glowing feeling in your chest?

it’s the constant laughter, furrowed brow of repeated iambic pentameter, @chiemeka.jpeg growling, @ikemosuro screaming while hurtling through queen mab, and awe watching your friends grow and do their thing.

it’s disbelief. that we got to rehearse, twice a week, in central london, for a west end show. that when we came out of stage door, all our family and friends were there cheering us on. we’re surrounded by love but sometimes your mind and memory play tricks on you. that night put any doubts TO BED and I’ll be replaying it for the rest of my life.

community and love are two of the most important things to me. this show was both.

thank you to the whole r&j team, to all my friends and family who showed up (on that night, from afar, and throughout), and to the indomitable @amber_anne for making it all happen.

when I started work, I thought I’d have to put my theatre dreams aside. instead, two months later, I’m crying during intermission because my colleagues have sent a selfie of them sitting in a row at my west end debut😭

this year has been bonkers. here’s to dreaming big, daring to chase them, and doing what you love!
