sweet lady, it’s been very hard the past 5 almost 6 months without you. but i want you to know, me and ashari got this. we love and miss you more than you know. my sweet mommy, nothing that you’ve ever given us has been taken for granted. we’re still here. sometimes I think to myself, “why her and not me?” you will ALWAYS be alive in my heart, because in my mind, you never left. i haven’t been in your room since you passed because it’s too hard to look in there without you in there waiting for me. you were and still are my sole inspiration to keep going. you are the reason im still here. realizing you aren’t here anymore really does take a toll on me mentally and sometimes physically. but i’m okay now, and I know I will be okay later on. your birthday is coming up too! I’ll be sure to get a cake for you. you would’ve been 49. I’ll celebrate you everyday, birthday or not. I miss you so much, and I will forever be grateful that you are my mommy.
until we meet again, keep tapping on my shoulder.
I love you. 💜🕊️ by @lexasmuse
