After 10+ years as an athlete at Northern Elite, it’s hard to put into words what this place has meant to me. Northern became more than a gym — it became a safe place, a second home, and the place where I found some of my best friends and biggest mentors. You all pushed me to inspire others, and I leave the athlete world content knowing I was able to be that person for younger athletes the same way so many people were for me.

To my teammates, this season was the perfect one to end on. I truly could not have asked for better people to spend my final year with. Every practice, competition, laugh, breakdown, and memory meant everything to me.

To my coaches, thank you for shaping me into the person I am today. Not just by making me a better athlete, but by teaching me humility, strength, resilience, and confidence. You believed in me even when I struggled to believe in myself.

Junior coaching changed my perspective in ways being an athlete never could. It helped me grow, reflect, and realize I’m doing better than I thought. Cheerleading has been my passion for 16 years, and while this chapter as an athlete is ending, it’s also leading me into a new chapter of that same passion.

Coaching at Northern Elite has already become such a full circle moment for me, and I hope I can continue to inspire athletes the way this program inspired me. Thank you for everything, Northern. Forever grateful for the memories, the people, and the home you gave me.

This isn’t goodbye — just the end of one chapter. Northern Elite will always be home to me, and I’m excited to keep growing here in a different role than the one that started it all.

I don’t even know how to put this feeling into words.
You gave up a title, but you never gave up on me. As I got older, I understood more and more that giving up your rights was one of the hardest and most selfless things you could have done so I could have the parental figure I needed. Even through your own battles, you never stopped trying to be better for me. I love you forever and I don’t know that you knew it. I pray that you are out of pain and found peace that you couldn’t find here.
