You were my first dog, my very best friend, and the one who was always there when I needed someone the most.

You never asked for anything but love, and yet you gave me everything. You were there through every tear, every hard moment, every quiet night when it felt like no one else understood — but you did. You always did. I never understood how something that can’t say one word to me has had such a big impact on my life.

I don’t know how to say goodbye to you. I miss you already more than I can even explain. My heart feels heavy without you here, but I know your love will never leave me. I hope heaven is good, lots of land, butt scratches and treats you can find.

Yesterday was someone’s 4th birthday, and even though I’m a day late posting, I could never forget how much this girl changed my life.
