It’s crazy how I used to question if I even belonged here. Four years later, I’ve graduated with a degree, memories, and a version of myself I barely recognize anymore.

On May 9th, I officially graduated from North Carolina State University.

This journey was far from easy. There were classes that tested me, moments where I doubted myself, and times I genuinely questioned whether I was on the right path. But through every setback, breakdown, and obstacle, I kept moving forward and I’m really proud of the person this experience shaped me into.

NC State gave me so much more than a degree. It gave me growth, resilience, unforgettable memories, friendships, opportunities, and proof that I’m capable of far more than I thought.

To the people who supported, encouraged, prayed for, checked on, and believed in me during this journey, thank you. I truly could not have done this alone.

And no…I’m not done yet.

A journey of growth, a standard of excellence, and the Alpha woman I’m proud to be💕💚…

To the Knockout Kappa Omicron Chapter: Thank you for being the space that allowed me to serve, grow, and truly step into what it means to represent excellence. This chapter gave me the opportunity to carry something bigger than myself, and I’ll always be grateful for that. Being a part of Kappa Omicron has shaped my journey in so many ways, and I’m proud to say this chapter is a part of my story forever.

To my line sisters, Klass In Session: I love y’all like no other. Thank you for being by my side through everything, the good, the bad, and everything in between. Y’all have supported me in ways I can’t even fully explain, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. The bond we have is something I’ll carry with me always.

To my pros, thank you to my pros…for seeing something in me and choosing me. You saw things in me that I didn’t always see in myself, and you helped bring that out of me in the best way. Thank you for guiding me through the process of achieving my everlasting goal of becoming a woman of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. I’m forever grateful for the love and belief you poured into me.

And to my neos, the P.E.A.R.L.S of KOntinuity: Ya’lltruly bring me so much joy. I love the energy, the drive, and the hard work you’ve already shown. Keep being exactly who you are and stepping into everything you’re meant to be. I’m so proud of you all, and I already know the chapter is in amazing hands. I can’t wait to see everything you accomplish, I know it’s going to be beyond anything I could imagine.
