Formal introduction of the 𝐸𝒳𝒫𝐿𝒪𝑅𝐸𝑅 𝐸𝒫 and some thank yous 🪷This is a six track EP, of which 5 of the 6 tracks were created on a solo trip to Bali over New Year 2025. The exception was ‘Taxi’ which was created the year before and prompted the idea for the whole project. The squeaking sound which opens ‘Taxi’ was a recording of a bird which kept me awake on my first night there. It’s not really encouraged at the moment for artists to release longer EPs or albums, because the ecosystem and listening habits doesn’t support their discovery. But if my single goal was to release music which aligned with the algorithm I’d go mad. I think you also have to create things that you want to listen to. And often, particularly when I’m traveling, I want to download an EP or album which has variety and will cover my taxi journey or train to the next destination. Making this project gave me a lot of joy and firstly I’m grateful for that. Secondly, a big thank you to the following contributors to this project.
