one year ago today, a very different lexi walked into church for the very first time. she was broken, hopeless, directionless, sad, filled with heartache, and believed she was worthless. on april 4th, 2023, i answered Jesus’ call to me to step into my identity as the daughter of the King of Kings.

over the past year, the Lord has done anything but withhold goodness from me, even in the moments when i didn’t deserve mercy. He is so kind. He has transformed me from the inside out. i am a walking, living, breathing miracle; i am a testimony that the Lord is all things good. i don’t have words to express the gratitude i feel for Him. He chose me when i was the last person on earth to deserve it. He fought for me when i couldn’t fight for myself any longer. He found me when i was lost. He called my name when i didn’t even know it yet. i was the 1 that he left the 99 for. i was his prodigal daughter. and instead of judging me, condemning me, punishing me, and abandoning me, He ran to me, kissed me on the cheek, and celebrated my communion with Him. He waited for me, patiently and earnestly, knowing His little girl would return home. what a loving Father.

this is a life i never thought i would live, that a love like THIS could exist. but that’s the great thing about God—He exceeds your expectations EVERY TIME. this road is narrow, challenging, and trying, but i would walk it forever if it led to Him every single time. so here’s to ONE YEAR with Jesus! and here’s to many, many more. He is my Savior, my Stronghold, my Redeemer, my Firm Foundation, my Deliverer, my Refuge, my Joy, and my very Breath.

spending today filled with gratitude for Jesus. He met me at a point in my life when i had nothing else to give, and I didn’t know if I was worthy of a love like His. since giving him my heart, i have been filled with a joy i didn’t know existed. i was convicted this month to get baptized on november 21st as a public declaration of my faith, and it was filled with so many tender moments from the Lord. thankful doesn’t even scratch the surface🫶🏼 taken in The Belonging Co by @lexi.cintron

for almost all my life, i have deeply struggled with comparison and feeling like i don’t measure up. and this video is no different. “i don’t sound like her,” “my voice is pitchy at that part,” “why am i making that face,” were all real thoughts that swirled around my head as i was watching the video back. and for almost all my life, this feeling of inadequacy has paralyzed me from pursuing the dreams in my heart. i don’t want to be stuck anymore. there is freedom at the feet of Jesus, and sharing this imperfect video is my sacrifice unto Him. i have been reminded that my worship was placed in me by my Father in heaven, and it actually shouldn’t look like the next person’s. it’s my gift from Him. i have my own song to share, my own voice to lift up, and it is ultimately so that He may be glorified. so Lord, take Your place, and may you use my worship to exalt Your name.🤍

three years ago, TODAY, Jesus saved me!!!

three years feels like such a short and long time all at once, but what i can say is this has been the best three years of my life. may my life continue to be one who honors and exalts Him, and one who shows His love to the people made in His image (the whole world!!!!). there is a difference between who i was, and who i am now, and its all because of a Man who loves you and me so much that He gave His life up for us so that we could live. and His name is Jesus.🕊️ taken in Nashville, Tennessee by @lexi.cintron

happy birthday, my love!

the sweetest, strongest, most gentle, patient person turns 26 today, and i could not be more grateful to celebrate him. i never thought my person was out there, but in the years of waiting, God was healing and molding me so that i could carry the gift He had waiting for me in His hand. i would wait all over again if it meant he was at the end. this man’s faith is electric. he serves with his entire heart, even when it would be easier not to. he moves through life with a grit and can overcome any obstacle, but always maintains a gentle demeanor. he is so patient. like beyond comprehension. he is the kind of person who can see someone’s potential, and has the God-given talent to pull it out of them. i will never get over always having the opportunity to watch that firsthand. his heart is pure gold, always allowing it to be refined by Jesus. not to mention, he’s so HANDSOME!! :)
