Had lessons on Deciduous and Evergreen trees as well as Pointilism, so we made 4 season trees. The trunks were ink and blowing with straws, and then acrylic paint was added using only cotton swabs.

It wasn't ridiculously hot, so we gladly took the messy lesson into the front yard. It was a beautiful day❤️ by @lexi.nerdfam

We got autographs and photos with all 3 of the main cast from Spy x Family (Arya got her book signed and Iris got her bear signed) and Alaina Huffman from Supernatural, SGU, and Smallville. by @lexi.nerdfam

Is it really the night before a Con if one doesn't stay up late finishing up the last minute touches on cosplays?

Crocheted 4 little hair covers the girls to both dress up as Anya from Spy x Family bc my original plan of sewing them fell through. It turned better because I was able to bobby pin them easier.

My fluffy bois kept me company while I rewatched Queen Charlotte and crocheted until 2 am. by @lexi.nerdfam

Iris decided that she was ready to get her ears pierced! Arya also decided to go ahead and get her piercings fixed, so for the first time in 9 years, she has evenly placed earrings!
.
Even with yelling "ow ow ow" loud enough for all of AAA to hear, Iris sat very still and let the piercer do her job. Arya was a trooper. She had to sit with the piercing rod in her ear a bit longer than usual because the gem wouldn't screw on, so the piercer had to look for a replacement. We were joking that she looked super metal.🤘 by @lexi.nerdfam

Today, we dyed Easter eggs the old fashioned way! We experimented quite a bit. We tried turmeric, spinach and arugula, red cabbage, raspberries, and blueberries.
.
Easily the most successful were the turmeric and the blueberries. We even ended up putting the eggs that were previously in the red cabbage and the raspberry dyes into the blueberry dye (those are the lighter purples) because they were sitting the longest with almost nothing happening. We ended up not even using the spinach and arugula dye because the color was so pale. We ended up just making another batch of the turmeric dye. by @lexi.nerdfam

We're slowly making the awkward added on "back area" of our house into an "outdoor" homeschool area.
We've been in this house for 10 years, and we have never quite figured out what to do with this space. It's covered and enclosed, yet still very much an outdoor space because of lack of insulation or air/heating.
