mango milky slush - their crystal boba is like the odd one out one! and coconut milk is always yum. but i think the mango pancake has been sitting in the fridge for a while OR the person who made the whipping cream messed up and separated

📍farmhouse kitchen thai, san mateo

farmhouse kitchen thai is loud, vibrant, and honestly — delicious. the Hat Yai fried chicken is as good as everyone says, but the jasmine rice is only fun for pics (taste normal). flavors are bold, portions are big, and it’s a spot that leans more “experience” than casual dinner.

that said, it’s pricey. I wouldn’t make it a regular spot, but more for a treat-yourself night or group dinner

get the seafood soondubu cause the original didn’t have much flavor. kalbi was the best! skip the pancake… tbh pricey for what it is but wow it really hit the spot

@apollobagels slayed with their bagels. truly no notes. soft bagel, fresh ingredients, salt levels of the bagel was excellent. enjoyed thoroughly. also line was mega efficient - stood in line for 10 min and waited another 10 after ordering by @lexiaeats

did you know @themuseumofmodernart has a restaurant? it’s called the modern, two Michelin starred ⭐️⭐️ we went during restaurant week (best deal of the season) cause we got three courses for just $60. otherwise would have retailed for about $100! the star of the show was the marinated crab and brussel sprouts - it had a creaminess and zestiness that added dimensions to the dish that would be hard to replicate. delicious

@sappe_nyc is the sister restaurant of infamous @soothr_nyc that opened up about a week ago! it focuses on northern thai food with a more unique take than a traditional restaurant. it’s absolutely beautiful inside with mirror ceilings, neon lights, and dim light - perfect for a date or catching up with friends. I do think since it’s very new, there needs to be some fine tuning but overall the dishes are flavorful, service is excellent, and I would visit again in a few months since the food has so much potential!
