If you have been around me in the last three years I have probably slipped it into conversation that I have had a tunnel vision goal of getting to pharmacy school, this has been my motivation for every class, every lab, every late night study session and I wouldn’t have been able to do it without my village of people. especially @delight_tamucc they have truly taught me that everything God does has a purpose and He has prepared me for this season of life so well, He was placing people in my life for this season long before I even knew I wanted to be a pharmacist and I am so grateful.

✨Leader Testimony Wednesday✨

Throughout my life I have found satisfaction and validation in worldly things, my swim career, my grades, validation from my peers, attention from boys, everything that wasn’t the Lord. None of it was ever fulfilling and these things would leave me unsatisfied and feeling empty. I was drinking from an empty well.

When I came to college I was looking for change, I wanted to find a true good group of friends. I hadn’t explored my faith very much and decided to join delight, just to get into my word weekly and learn more about the bible.

Wow did it change my life, heart posture, and my perspective on the world! Through delight I learned the story of the Samaritan woman who Jesus went out of his way to find, and he let her know the only true way of fulfillment in life was through him and his living water. In John 4:13-14 Jesus tells the Samaritan woman that “everyone who drinks the water from this well will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed the water I give them will become a spring of water welling up to eternal life” Jesus teaches us that the water of the world will only leave us empty and craving more but the water of life from Jesus will be never ending, and will lead us to eternal life! 💗🙌 taken in Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi by @lexiekidman
