It’s October 1st, my favorite month and apparently my time to shine.

Being an herbalist, some people call me a “green witch.” Honestly, I’ve been called worse by people with far less impressive herb collections.

I grow mysterious plants, keep jars of questionable-looking things, talk to animals, and make all kinds of concoctions. At this point, the broom is just a business expense.

And of course I’m starting the month with my Witch’s Brew for breakfast because “woman drinking green juice” doesn’t have nearly the same dramatic flair. And you know I’m not wasting an opportunity to be a little extra.

No spells before breakfast. No hexes before coffee. And if you see me stirring a pot, mind your business, it could be herbs, it could be dinner, it could be poison for my haters. (for legal purposes, just kidding)

Happy October from your friendly neighborhood feral farm witch. Now keep your eyes ahead,my broom has terrible brakes.

Our first time at Lexie Lane Farm! They have so many things there- juice, pickles, popcorn, honey, gifts, skincare items and so much more. I especially love how they also have a community pantry! The rain started hitting hard so I didn’t get to get more pics of that, but I definitely saw that it was there! Definitely worth braving the weather for!

📣 WE HEAR YOU!

We’ve received quite a bit of feedback about the payment process at the Farmstand, and we completely understand! When you’re purchasing goodies from several different local vendors, having to scan multiple QR codes and make separate payments can turn what should be a simple Farmstand stop into a confusing checkout process and that’s the last thing we want!

So, we’re making it easier!

Going forward, we will be removing the individual vendor QR codes and payment options. Instead, you’ll be able to make ONE simple payment directly to Lexie Lane Farm via cash, cashapp, Venmo, Apple Pay or card if needed for your entire Farmstand purchase. 🛒

That means whether you’re grabbing something from Lexie Lane Farm or products from several of the amazing farms, makers, bakers, and small businesses we carry, you won’t have to worry about figuring out who gets paid separately, let us worry about that!

One checkout. One payment. A whole lot easier.

And don’t worry this change does NOT change the way you’re supporting our local vendors! Your purchases will still support the individual small businesses whose products you choose. We’re simply handling the payment process behind the scenes so YOU don’t have to. ❤️

Our Farmstand has grown so much, and with growth sometimes comes a little trial and error. We appreciate everyone who has taken the time to give us feedback because it helps us figure out what works, what doesn’t, and how we can make your Farmstand experience better.

At the end of the day, all of us want shopping local to be easy, enjoyable, and convenient for our amazing customers supporting our small businesses!

Thank you for continuing to support Lexie Lane Farm and all of the incredible local farms and small businesses represented in our Farmstand.

We hear you. We appreciate you. And we’re always working to make the Farmstand better for YOU. ❤️
