A little #bts of the @abrushofviolence trailer from first pass ➡️ final.

I studied Men, Prometheus, Hereditary, Titane, The Lighthouse & Midsommar trailers and took notes on any patterns or certain beats that seemed congruent at specific times. I wanted to create a custom sound so editing wasn’t locked to a specific count & used around 29 SFX tracks do so. (Used a lot of @epidemicsound stems to do this & highly recommend their music library.)

Next, I sent over the files so @snakesofrussia could compose the actual 🔥 track, then to @coltonjackson_12 to add/subtract/amplify and work his magic on the sound, while also mixing Snake’s track in. (2nd slide)

Once I had those back, I realigned footage to match Snake’s + Colton’s incredible work & vuaaala 🤙🏾

Sound Design + Edit 🔊🔊

A closer look at my timeline for latest work with @jumpman23 -
Had so much fun building this for Jordan / fashion artist & designer @teladamore_ and her new shoe that just dropped. Joe gave me a lot of creative freedom so I tried some edits and sounds that were new for me. Super happy with how it turned out.
🔥 👟

+thanks to @lensdistortions for many of the incredible sounds.

Last year I collaborated on a short piece with @romanusrecords and our team brought home an Emmy on Sunday night for it!! Chris Banta, the genius subject & artist, makes custom vinyl records and fills them with any & every element you can think of. Sand, glitter, razor blades, Doritos, you name it. The short focuses on his journey and how you can follow your dreams from anywhere. Indiana is lucky to have him. Can’t wait to visit so I can pack this lil guy in my suitcase and bring him home🏆 🏆 congrats team!!
