The most perfect month spent in the 901🧡

I had the opportunity this June to serve at @campconquest, and I am so forever thankful I listened to God and got to spend time with the most beautiful people.

I learn so much here every year, but the thing that stuck out this year was finding joy in the small things. Whether it’s singing a song from Rio 24/7, having a love for turtles, getting messy in the dirt, or wearing sparkly gloves like Michael Jackson, these campers demonstrate that the joy of the Lord is overflowing into even the simplest of moments.

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭100‬:‭1‬-‭5‬ ‭
Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations. taken in Camp Conquest by @lexihurst20

Semester 3 is a wrap! Thank you Jesus for this gift💝

As I entered the semester in August, I felt a lot of anxiety about starting my sophomore year at a new school. But as the days and weeks passed, God continually filled my heart with peace and joy. I am so thankful for the past 16 weeks at AQ and for everyone who welcomed me into my new home❤️🤍🐶

“How’s your heart?”

A question that I was asked every night at the end of what I would say is my favorite week of the year.

Now to answer that question. My heart is so full because God is so good. I am extremely blessed to have been able to serve and interact with people who are filled with such joy and enthusiasm for the Lord.

This week was certainly not the easiest with some very low lows, but in that God gave very high highs. I’m amazed each year how much I learn and grow through this experience and hope to continue in the many years to come!

1 Peter 4:10-11
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.”

“When the race is complete still my lips shall repeat yet not I, but through Christ in me.”

This senior season has been such a blast and way more exciting than I could have ever asked for. I have loved getting to make my team my second family.💖 taken in East Kentwood Falcon Stadium by @lexihurst20
