For some reason (capitalism), posting on IG has become this big thing where you have to look good, look happy, look expensive, and make all of that look effortless. EYE think that’s stupid as fuck, a tad rooted in delusion, and it leads to self-sabotage due to being stuck trying to keep up/fit in/stand out by way of comparison. Boti falls is a twin waterfall located at Boti in Manya Krobo in the Eastern Region of Ghana. These twin falls are referred to as female and male. 👫🏾

People are always shook when I say this but…for years and years and years, I hated the way I looked. Too tall, too big, neck too long, chile any flaw I could invent, I did 👩🏾‍🔬. I remember trying to count calories and skip meals wishing and praying that I could “just lose my stomach”. My ass was celebrated but I was made to feel like that was the only noteworthy thing about me. So I hid it. I hid everything. I kept myself covered and told myself I just looked better with clothes on. Eventually, and with the help of Spirit, I realized that none of these insecurities were truly my own. They were just things that other people/ society projected onto me to keep my light dim. But real diamonds still dance, even in the dark. So now, I’m ready to blind a bitch because I know that I was divinely crafted. Bad bitchery is the family business, and it would be remiss of me to not take up the mantle. Lol my ancestors would drag me if I didn’t. Thank you Boti Falls, for helping me cleanse and clear yearsss worth of stagnant negative energy.
