6 years of collegiate soccer over..
Houston, words can’t begin to express the love and gratitude I have for this place. The friendships I’ve built and the memories I’ve made here in such a short time will forever hold a special place in my heart. I wouldn’t trade my college experience or the chance to finish my collegiate career here for anything in the world.

Thank you mom, dad, and gaby for all your love and support with every decision I have made in college. Everything you guys have sacrificed for me to be where I am today means the world. To my coaches and staff, thank you for your unwavering belief in me, even when I doubted myself. Thank you for your toughness and constant support. To my teammates past and present, I’ve learned so much from so many of you. I truly can’t wait to see what incredible things you all do. Thank you FAU and University of Arkansas I wouldn’t be the player and person i am today without you.

My final season at the University of Houston was one of the most challenging and meaningful experiences of my life. Before the season even started, I dislocated my shoulder, I got to do PT and keep playing for my final season. My coaches and teammates trusted me when i was ready to play. In the middle of the season, I dislocated my shoulder again. Again not ideal, i was about to call it with only a few games remaining… I knew I would do anything to finish my last year of college soccer no matter what. Playing through the pain and adversity taught me more about myself than I ever expected. This experience tested me in every possible way, but it also made me stronger, more resilient, and more grateful.

It’s bittersweet to close this chapter, but also to look back and see how much I’ve grown. My next chapter in life is going to look different than I thought, but i’m not done playing yet. I’m going to take the time to properly heal my shoulder and get the surgery I need, but my goal remains the same to pursue professional soccer. taken in University of Houston by @lexiigon
