Wip!
I like how this is turning out so far! I enjoy lip sync. The walk cycle was a challenge but I’m happy with it

I have a music video in production! :)
I’ll be posting some of the boards next while I work on the animation! I know is creepier than my usual content, but Trillion (the story of Hazel, Izik and Maes) plays with slightly darker, more unsettling themes than Bedrock. Bedrock’s conflict is brutalist and horror adjacent, but Trillion’s conflict is more uncomfortable and psychological.
Trillion is waaay more fun to read than Bedrock (for me at least), especially with the endearing character interactions and humor. It’s deceptively lighter.
It’s very tempting to start Trillion, but my husband and I have made a decision to stick with Bedrock while I fine tune what I’ve written for Trillion (and sharpen my artistic skills).
Izik has been a lot of fun to write especially. Don’t worry, I promise Maes is still a good. 😅 He’s not himself in this.
Tell me which story sounds more interesting to you in the comments!

Izik has come such a long way!
Still my Mohawk-elf 😅 but glowier!
That last one is a still frame from an old animation where he had "backstreet boy" hair.

Character facts!
This is the big bad from my comic Bedrock. You can read it on WEBTOON if you haven’t already. <3

Name: Ze’Kha Yadzi
Age: 51
Ogziran warlord
Criminal antagonist
Name meaning: Friendly Fellow
Tomo’s name: Intimidating Fellow

Ze’Kha is the leader of the Tuns (the most powerful gang in Bekuzh-Ogzira’s surviving city). He comes from “Gezudra”. An off world colony.
He keeps a chain of his enemies eyes on him to fidget with. He likes to look into them to remember the kill. (I put my eyeball in there, Guess which one!)
I’m not going to get into the nitty-gritty of all the awful things he’s done. But a lot of it will come out in the comic.

Brief Backstory:
After being snatched up by a rival gang as a child. He betrayed them by letting the Tuns into their complex. He was hired by the Tuns as a Capo.
he slowly worked his way up the hierarchy until he became the Don.
After the birth of his only son Tomo, he found something intriguing on Ogzira, and invaded it with plans for reformation.
Once established, they wiped out one of the three major organizations and took control.
Ze’Kha is a terribly abusive person, and though he pretends to be compassionate towards the suffering of other Ogzirans, he’s a complete hypocrite that will use any horrible tactic he can to remain in control.
He named Tomo “Intimidating” because it’s what Ze’Kha hoped he’d become. But because of his absence, Tomo isn’t cut out to lead with nearly the same ferocity.

They’re so cuuuuteee when the purr💜🥲
Tell me what you wanna see them get up to next in the comments. 👇
Read Bedrock on Webtoon canvas if you haven’t already.
Also check out his new colors! I’m satisfied with Kaeza’s for now but maybe I’ll change it later.
I feel like he still looks like himself but with just sliiightly more realistic colors.
I felt like I had too many candy colored characters for what I was trying to do.
By now in the comic Maes and Kaeza have been dating a while. I’ve been bumbling around my brain for a long time.
Also he’s cool with being called a freak he knows they both are.

The first time Hazel meets Izik during an astral projection he looks like this. Kinda freaky but also pretty.
Had fun experimenting with this one!!! Don’t usually do this kind of animation but it makes it easier and I like how it looks so far.

Here’s some lore!✨

Hazel was once a scribe for the Luminaries of the Celestial Order. She eventually left the church with a few close friends. (The priest in the other sketches).

I don’t have a name for him yet. So I’ll take suggestions! Preferably names with religious meanings from abrahamic faiths. I’m thinking Noah?
He’s been in my head for a while. And I’ve been toying with the idea that he and Hazel were once romantically involved.

Most humans belong to the Celestial Order; an ecclesiastical organization that’s cherry picked various religious ideologies. Their goal is to evangelize other sentient beings, learn about the universe, and connect with the divine.
I’m still developing the structure of the church. Like, who does what. Who the pontifex? Where is the church itself located. Is it in space? Probably.
What does earth look like?
Names are also difficult to come up with.
the clothing is a little easier. It’s basically catholic attire with sci-fi elements.

Anyway! Names are subject to change. 🥰
