Finally finished. I am calling this a cursed bind. It was me vs the cricut and I have to say I beat it.

I actually love this book, and the bind came out as I saw it in my head.

@juliarose_writer published her first original novel! I am SO proud! It's so good, everyone please give her a shout out! It's original, and she worked so hard these last two years building this. As her friend, @marta.intotheforest and @elivrayn did incredible jobs helping her with character and cover art!

I have read so many iterations of this book. In good UNBIASED faith, loved this not because she wrote it. I loved it because for so long I watched her draft and rewrite, build it from her mind, her thoughts, picking every little thing apart and then- THEN she had the courage to put it out there.

We all love a good ETL, but this is not a dramione rewrite, these are two completely original characters in a world that her brain somehow made up.

Give it a shot if you love dark MMC, ETL, uncommon FMC with a backbone!

I haven't done an exchange in quite some time. But @splashofbinding and I decided to do a quick little paperback exchange, and SHE ATE.

Look at the painting she made! My very favorite, and all the details. This is why I'm a terrible exchanger, I assume stickers and things are too much, and then I'm sad I didn't go all out!

I was so happy that @minart1405 could help capture what is essentially the heart of this story for me. I do not promote my stories, or that I write them very often, but as this is an entirely soft, fluffy story about a boys journey to meet his hero and turn her into his mother, I feel like today's a day to share something about it.

If you like soft, squishy, comforting fics, single dad Draco, Author Hermione, Chaotic Uncle Theo, a very intrusive and amazing house elf named Fribley, and a very mischievous, pure soul little Scorp, then this might be for you.

Everyone should read or re-read this novel. So many themes of this book resonate today just as much as it did in its original publication year.

To Kill a Mockingbird is narrated by young Scout Finch, whose lawyer father, Atticus, defends Tom Robinson, a Black man falsely accused of raping a white woman in 1930s Depression-era Alabama, exposing the town's deep-seated racism and forcing Scout and her brother Jem to confront prejudice and injustice while learning about empathy and the coexistence of good and evil, symbolized by the innocent "mockingbird". The children's childhood fascination with their reclusive neighbor, Boo Radley, also plays a central role, as he ultimately emerges as a protector, further teaching them compassion.
