As we've entered a new year and our 10th year in business, we thought this would be a great time to reintroduce ourselves. 📍We are located in the heart of downtown Asheville, NC, and were born out of the desire to create timeless and innovative hand-blown glass and custom lighting. Each piece is handcrafted using century-old techniques with the singular goal of creating top-notch work. Proud to be a part of one of the Southeast's most renowned arts destinations, we are committed to and passionate about the continued cultivation of the glass community in Asheville. At our studio, we invite you to watch our artists at work, as well as browse the gallery for the perfect piece for your home, office, or a unique gift for a special occasion. 💡 Did you know that Lexington Glassworks is also a lighting design studio? We specialize in incorporating custom hand-blown glass lighting into both new constructions and renovations. Our team collaborates closely with homeowners, designers, architects, and builders, working on everything from big lighting projects to artistic wall installations. 📚️The Resident Assistantship is a professional development opportunity for emerging artists with glassblowing experience. During the six-month program, participants join us in our studio, where they receive hands-on training and mentorship, aimed at nurturing their skills and cultivating them into future creative entrepreneurs and glass artists. 📅 Since we opened our doors in 2015, artists and co-owners Billy & Geoff have poured their hearts into crafting each piece in our gallery. Together with our fantastic team, we’re dedicated to creating beautiful blown glass pieces and sharing them with you! 🥳 As we celebrate our 10th year, we’ve got some exciting surprises in store that we can't wait to share with all of you! Thank you for being such a wonderful part of our journey. We look forward to building new relationships and cherishing the ones we already have! - Geoff, Billy, and Ashleigh by @lexingtonglass

These three one of a kind sculptural bottles feature a rich, saturated blue at the top that gradually softens into more muted blue tones toward the base. White cane winds through each piece in a wig wag design, creating movement and contrast throughout the glass. Style one on a bookshelf, let it stand on its own as a coffee table centerpiece, or give it a place on an entryway console where it can be enjoyed every day. by @lexingtonglass

What do you hang in an 18' tall stairwell? For one of our clients, the answer was a multi port canopy fixture. The chandelier mixes Sphere, Round Taper, and Pill pendants, all in our Half Seeded design. Our clients started by visiting the gallery, where they browsed our pendant styles and watched some of them being made in the hot shop. It's one of our favorite parts of the process. Clients can talk with our glassblowers, ask questions, and see exactly how their lighting comes to life. If you're interested in custom lighting, send us a message! 💡Featured Lighting: Stairwell: Spheres, Pills, Round Tapers | Half Seeded | Salmon, Goldenrod, Olive, Glacial, Thistle Designer: @id.ologyinteriorsdesign by @lexingtonglass

This one of a kind handblown glass orb brings together two distinct color application techniques: our familiar bowtie design and the intricate, flowing lines of wig wag. Layered together, these patterns create something unexpected. What might seem like contrasting designs at first come together through the organic movement of the glass, with each pattern complementing the other to create a sense of balance and harmony. Soft pastel hues flow throughout the orb, adding a delicate touch of color to the dynamic patterns. The result is a one of a kind piece where intricate technique and a softer color palette come together beautifully. Swing by the studio to see our new one of a kind pieces in the gallery! by @lexingtonglass
