Exciting news: I’ve officially joined @foratravel as a Pro Travel Advisor!🍾✨Joining Fora Pro (an advanced certification) means I can now offer even more — from a dedicated flights desk for premium air travel to VIP perks at top hotels worldwide, think complimentary breakfast, room upgrades, and early check-in/late checkout at no extra cost to you. None of this would be possible without my incredible partners and clients who have trusted me with some of their biggest life moments♥️Since starting Lexi’s Wine List in 2019, I’ve traveled to wine regions around the world and loved sharing those experiences with you here. But there’s only so much a photo can capture — I wanted to help you personally experience these moments. From vineyard dinners with winemakers to live music in cloisters and every unforgettable memory in between.I started with wine retreats in 2023, taking small groups through California, Tuscany, and Sicily. The requests for custom private trips kept coming, and since then I’ve planned itineraries for clients visiting Napa Valley, Sonoma, Tuscany, Umbria, Sicily, Amalfi Coast, Rome, Venice, Bologna, Champagne, Paris, and more.I’ve combined my background in hospitality (fun fact: I’ve worked at multiple five-star resorts) with ten years in the wine industry and relationships with winemakers, hoteliers, and local guides around the world to create truly unforgettable, one-of-a-kind experiences.Wine is my inspiration, but never the whole story. Every trip weaves in the things that make a place truly come alive — food tours, truffle hunting, cooking classes, cultural experiences, and off-the-beaten-path moments you’d never find on Google. I intentionally work with small, family-owned wineries and local guides who genuinely love where they live and can’t wait to share it with you — connecting you directly with the families and traditions that make wine country so special. It’s slow travel through the lens of wine and food, and I think you’ll love it as much as I do.If you’re dreaming of a destination, drop me a note (there’s a form in my bio) and let’s make it happen✈️#fora #foratraveladvisor #winetravel #traveladvisor by @lexiswinelist

Let’s plan your dream trip to Italy 🍷✈️I’ve partnered with the same families who bring my annual Tuscany Wine Retreat to life to plan completely custom vacations in Italy — from Tuscany to the Amalfi Coast, Sicily, and even Northern Italy. We work exclusively with small, family-owned wineries and local businesses that embody the authentic Italy I fell in love with. These intimate experiences connect you directly with the families and traditions that make Italian wine country so special, while supporting the communities keeping this heritage alive.Think slow mornings, hilltop towns, private winery visits you wouldn’t stumble upon on your own, and cooking classes where you’re welcomed into someone’s actual home. It’s slow travel at its finest, and I think you’re going to love it.If Italy is on your list, send me a DM or visit the 🔗 in my bio to get started ✨What’s at the top of your bucket list??#tuscany #winetravel #winetourism #italytrip #amalficoastitaly by @lexiswinelist

Save this: 3 German wines to try beyond sweet Riesling🍷 Germany is home to 13 distinct wine regions producing everything from crisp Sekt (German sparkling wine) to Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, and Müller-Thurgau.Germany’s cool, northern climate gives its wines a signature high acidity, meaning light, refreshing bottles that are easy to pair and built for any occasion. This month, @winehousela is celebrating German Wine Month with a curated lineup and a tasting event on July 30th at 7pm. Not in LA? Order these bottles online and bring a taste of Germany home (🔗 in my stories).Have you tasted German wines yet? If you’ve been following along, you know this trip has been a long time coming…so many of you have told me how much I’d love it here, and I’m excited to let you know you were absolutely right!Willamette Valley feels like a neighborhood community - familial, charming, and still largely undiscovered. There are so many incredible small wineries here, and if you love lavender and farm animals, you’re in the right place. The fresh produce, blooming fields, and delicious wines are just bonuses to the wonderful people you’ll meet and memories you’ll create here. My first introduction to Oregon wine country was better than I could’ve imagined thanks to @darkhollow.farm @travelmedford and @fielddaypr 🌙✨Dark Hollow Farm is the kind of place that stays with you long after you leave.Originally from South Africa, Brian & Anita purchased land in Southern Oregon’s Rogue Valley a few years back with the dream of planting an organic olive grove and vineyard. Anita, a ceramicist and art therapist who hosts paint & sip workshops, and Brian, who fell in love with farming the vines, are joined by their daughter, Anna, a recent PhD grad and chef who hosts events and manages the tasting room.Today, with local winemaker Eric Weisinger, they produce a handful of small batch wines, including Pinot Noir, Riesling, Rosé, Semillon Sauvignon Blanc blend, and a sparkling Chardonnay, as well as two varieties of award-winning Spanish and Italian olive oil.The wines tell a story, and the labels have even more to say. Designed by 93-year-old local activist and artist, Betty LaDuke, each label showcases the vineyard workers, who are crucial to the final product, yet often forgotten. Our experience at Dark Hollow Farm started with a thoughtful toast and a walk through the olive grove at golden hour, and ended with a homemade dinner (cooked by Anna herself) amongst the vines, beneath the string lights. We stargazed for a bit on our way out (making sure to locate Gemini, of course!) and this incredible night set the tone for the whole trip. Dark Hollow Farm embodies exactly what Oregon wine country is all about - community, a shared passion for the land, and stories to be shared over a long table of great food and wine.I couldn’t think of a better way to spend my birthday. Thank you to Anita, Brian, and Anna for an unforgettable evening. This is exactly the kind of place that makes wine so special - make sure you save this for your next trip to Southern Oregon🍷#roguevalley #oregonwine #winetasting #winetravel #oregonwinecountry by @lexiswinelist
