neighborhood perks: walking out your front door straight into the @talbotstreetartfair! proud to support so many incredible artists and local food vendors. Harvey loved making friends, and we loved bringing home a gorgeous new piece for the house. 🖼️🩵

One of the things John and I love most about our neighborhood is how walkable it is to so many amazing local restaurants. This time, we made our way to @kountrykitchenindy ♥️🍴

We started with the soul rolls, then I got the meatloaf with two sides while John went all in with the fried catfish and fried chicken with two sides. Everything was flavorful, comforting, and the service was fantastic.

If you’re in Indy, be sure to check out Kountry Kitchen and take a look at their weekday specials, events, and deals.

An Italian summer night in Indy! 🇮🇹🍕🍨

@openinvite.indy and @thebunnyburrow_carmel truly know how to create unforgettable events, with every detail thoughtfully planned. We spent the evening enjoying all things Italy… pizza, gelato, and Italian charm bracelets.

Red jelly shoes, cute jewelry, and the perfect pair of Pistola jeans 💋✨ I couldn’t leave without a cute new ring (zero self control) and a t-shirt from the collab between @mamaochre and @shopgoodneighbor this past weekend!

The weather is on our side Indy friends, so stop by if you’re in the area. Afterward you could even head over to @thegaragefoodhall for a bite and drinks 🍔🍹🛍️

Saturday date night at one of our local favorites @gatherindy. They have an amazing menu (get their espresso martini) and I’m counting down to summer nights on their outdoor patio (which is dog friendly). 💙

We stopped by @bocca_indy for a nightcap of course. Btw, their Aperol Spritz towers are everything and their arancini is delicious. 🤌🏻

One of my favorite things about our neighborhood is being able to walk to these spots and fully enjoy the energy of where we live. There’s something about warm nights, good food, and local favorites that makes it all feel extra special. ☺️

365+ days in 30 seconds…

in just over a year, this space has seen it all. we welcomed Harvey into the family, I finally crossed the finish line on my MBA, and we filled these rooms with the sound of dinner parties and birthday candles. there has been a lot of laughter, a few tears, and a whole lot of growth in between. i am so grateful for every memory tucked into these corners and even more excited for the ones we haven’t made yet. 🏡♥️
