Had a hauntingly fun time creating my spooky submission for the 2nd Annual Empress Gin Cocktail Competition put on by Trevor’s Liquor!

As a winter themed event, I took my love for the traditional warmth of berry cinnamon notes and channeled them in to a gin sour inspired by my favorite holiday film, The Nightmare Before Christmas.

“The Nightmare Before Empress”
Empress Elderflower Rose Gin
Homemade Holiday Blend Clove Spice Cranberry Ginger syrup
Egg white
Cranberry Bitters
Cinnamon Bitters
Mint Leaf Garnish

Should my drink be chosen, I’d be competing at Trevor’s Liquor in North Scottsdale on October 16th.

Cheers, ghouls!
