It was universally agreed that the Dream Big party on Friday was one of the best readings we’ve ever been a part of. The energy in that room was electric. And we’re not just talking about the lighting (although the lights were also amazing). If you didn’t make it, well, you missed out. Better catch the next one. Thank you to all of our readers, and to all those who came out and donated to the cause. We really appreciate you. taken in Lexington Writer's Room by @lexwritersroom

Looking for the perfect place to write? The Lexington Writer's Room has it! We're the only place in Lexington that offers secure, 24/7 access to our writing spaces. From standing desks to comfy chairs to cozy nooks, the LWR is tailor-made for writers.

But that's not all...

Our professional and fully stocked workplace includes a high capacity printer, basic office supplies, sodas and yummy snacks. And plants! At last count, we had 33 lovely air-cleaning plants.

Come feel the warm but productive vibe of the place and people. Grab a desk (or a sofa, or a comfy chair, or even a spot on the floor if you'd prefer!) for just $50 a month.

Check out all of our membership plans on our website:

You're not going to miss this... right? 👀 🎃 👻

Join the Lexington Writer’s Room for A Dark & Story Night, a literary-themed Halloween party for writers, readers, and lovers of all things spooky. Costumes are encouraged, but not required.

We’ll have snacks and drinks, music, candy, ghost stories, and plenty of Halloween fun. So grab your cape, witch hat, detective coat, or just yourself, and come spend a delightfully dark evening with us.

Admission is free, but donations are appreciated. Suggested donation: $10.

Can't wait to see you on October 24!

Once a year, when the nights grow colder, the spectral librarian of the Lexington Writer's Room opens the library and releases the stories from their shelves.

Every door leads to a different tale of horror. Characters wander the halls. Guests arrive in disguise. There are games to play, stories to write, and prizes for those who dress the part.

For one Dark and Story Night, the Lexington Writers Room invites you to read our rooms and become part of the story.

Come join us on Saturday, October 24 from 6:00-10:00pm! taken in Lexington Writer's Room by @lexwritersroom

Did you know most of our desks can easily be raised or lowered? So, if you like to stand while writing (like Megs, pictured), we've got you!
