For the past year i’ve been thinking about how to write this out perfectly. Over 10 years of playing, so many amazing friends, so many family trips, so many goals, wins, and losses. if you’d asked me 3 years ago where i’d be after highschool, i probably would’ve just stuttered. i’m thankful for the strength and hope i was given by God after my first and second ACL tears. it’s rare to come back from those. but i did it. i’m taking today to celebrate ME and MY overcoming of these injuries, and to getting to a place my freshman year self thought id lost all hope for. i’m blessed by my family and friends who’ve supported me throughout this 10+ year long journey, especially my club team, Sporting07Girls (2023), and my coach, Flash Carter, who were there for me through thick and thin throughout my ACL journey. with that, i’m so excited to announce my official commitment to Mid American Christian University!! thank you to everyone who was there for me the past 4 years, it has been a blessing💕 @macuwsoccer @macuyousey @sportingok07girls @flashcarter taken in MACU Women's Soccer by @lexx.405
