Owl has an extraordinary ability to see in low light, picking up movement when much of its surroundings are hidden. Its guidance this week is to recognise when a situation is no longer what you thought it was. You may be looking at something familiar, yet finding that the details, circumstances or behaviour of others have changed. Rather than responding from what you have come to expect, take another look at what is happening now🦉

Owl brings a particular kind of wisdom, one that comes from intuitively knowing what deserves your attention. That may be the detail that doesn’t quite fit, the information you’ve overlooked or the part of a situation that deserves a closer look. What you observe and learn through experience adds to your knowledge, particularly when you’re dealing with something unfamiliar💫

During major life transitions, familiar habits can become something you reach for simply because they once gave you a sense of certainty. But a way of thinking or responding that served you in one chapter may no longer belong in the next. Owl invites you to recognise where you are repeating an old pattern or response, and consider what might be possible with a new direction ✨

Owl reminds us that there is something powerful about being willing to enter unfamiliar territory without knowing exactly what awaits you. Owl’s ability to navigate its way through the darkness reminds you that uncertainty doesn’t have to stop you from moving forward. Take in what is around you, trust your judgement and allow yourself to discover a different way of seeing, living and being 🙌

Have you ever noticed how different the energy of one animal can feel from another?

When I connect with animals, I’m aware of distinct differences in their energy. Dogs often feel open, expressive and full of enthusiasm. There’s a warmth and an eagerness in the way they connect.

Cats feel different their energy can be more contained and discerning. I notice a quiet independence in the way they engage, as though they have no need to rush the interaction.

Horses have a strong connection to emotion. I find their energy can feel grounding, yet incredibly perceptive. Birds often feel lighter and quicker, with an alertness that draws your attention outward. Wild animals can have a very different quality again, one that reflects their instinct, awareness and place in the natural world.

I find these differences fascinating. We tend to recognise animals by their appearance and behaviour, but there’s another side to getting to know them through intuitive connection.

Have you ever felt a particular quality in an animal that stayed with you, or noticed that being around one type of animal feels different to another? I’d love to hear about your experience. #animalenergy #photooftheday #animalconnection #animalintuitive #i̇nstagood by @lexymooreco

Everyone has intuitive abilities; it’s just that some people have a greater level of awareness of when they’re using them.

How many times have you had a feeling about something, just known something without knowing why, or had a thought pop into your head that seemed to come from nowhere?

And then ignored it because you thought you were imagining things?

The thing is, most people aren’t even aware of how often they experience these moments because they’re so used to brushing them off.

BUT the more you start paying attention, the more you can begin to recognise how your own intuition works.

And no, that doesn’t mean every feeling or thought is your intuition talking! 🫠

Learning to tell the difference is part of developing your abilities.

Sometimes life genuinely does need to come first.

There’s shit that needs to be done. People who need you. Responsibilities you can’t just ignore. Adulting can suck lol 😂

This isn’t about dropping all of that to “choose yourself.”

It’s just a reminder not to completely forget yourself in the process.

Circle back to you.

Even if it’s five minutes. Even if it’s later that night.

Ask yourself:

✨ What do I actually want or need right now?

And give yourself some of that.

You don’t have to completely change your life.

Just stop forgetting to include yourself in it. 💜 by @lexymooreco

Wanting certainty can feel like trust.
That you’re trusting it’s going to work out.

But for me, deep down it was actually control.

Because no matter how strong I thought I was, there was still a part of me that didn’t trust myself to navigate whatever happened if things didn’t work out the way I wanted them to or the way I’d planned.

That was the part I needed to change.

Self-trust isn’t knowing everything will work out exactly how you want it to.

It’s knowing that whatever happens, you trust yourself to navigate it.

And there’s SOOOOO much freedom in that. by @lexymooreco

Sometimes the reason you’re not getting anywhere isn’t because you’re not trying hard enough.

It’s because you’re focusing on the wrong thing.

You’ve decided THIS is the problem, so that’s where all your time and energy goes.

Trying to fix it. Understand it. Change it.

Meanwhile, the thing that’s actually causing the problem isn’t getting looked at at all.

Zoom out 😎

It’s a LOT easier to work out what actually needs your attention when you can see the bigger picture. by @lexymooreco

If you’re an overthinker, you know how quickly one thought can turn into ten 🫠

You think about what could happen.
Then what could happen if THAT happens.
Then there’s another possibility you hadn’t considered.
Then another way you could handle it.
Then you question whether you’re looking at it the right way in the first place.

And somehow, after thinking about it from every possible angle, you end up more confused, more frustrated and still don’t know what to do.

There’s actually a reason that happens...
And telling yourself to “just stop overthinking” isn’t going to fix it.

I’ve just put a new video up on YouTube about what’s actually happening when you overthink and what to do instead.

If you’re sick of going around in circles in your own head, go watch it (link in Bio) by @lexymooreco

Ever get frustrated with yourself because you KNOW what you’re doing… but you keep doing it anyway?

I’m running a FREE 90-minute live workshop to show you what’s actually underneath your self sabotage and how to redirect it so you can stop going around in circles and actually move towards what you want.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING THAT’S KEEPING YOU STUCK?

Maybe you already know you procrastinate. Overthink everything. Avoid things. Keep making the same decisions. End up in the same relationship dynamics. Start something and then pull back.

You are AWARE of those things. They’re easy to spot.

But they’re not what’s actually going on underneath the surface.

And telling yourself to just stop doing them doesn’t work.

In this workshop, I’m going to help you:

➡️ Identify YOUR self sabotage; including the ways you might not realise you’re doing it

➡️ Get underneath the obvious behaviour and find what’s actually driving it

➡️ Work through practical exercises to CHANGE it

➡️ Learn how to redirect the same willpower you’ve been using to go around in circles towards what you actually want

We’ll look at relationships, money, business/work, health and life in general.

And there’ll be opportunities for live hot seats, so I can work through some of your actual situations with you too.

Saturday 26 September
11am–12:30pm AEST
Live online + FREE

PLUS: The first 10 people to register and attend live will get a free 10-minute 1:1 Clarity Call with me after the workshop.

If you’re frustrated because you KNOW what you do but haven’t been able to actually change it, this is for you.

Register link is in Bio 💜

I caught myself doing this today… 🫠
I’m on a Personal 6 Day today, and my 6 connects into my 5, and I could FEEL the unbalanced side of my 6 coming through.

Doubt. Judgement. Procrastination. (So fun 😂)

That whole “Is this right? Am I doing the right thing? Why am I feeling like this?” FML lol 😂

And I could very easily sit here and judge myself for it and go, “Oh my god, why am I like this today? What is going on?”

BUT that isn’t going to help.

So instead I stopped and went, okay - what actually balances this energy out?

6 is a really nurturing energy when it’s balanced. It loves health, wellbeing, cleanliness, purification and actually taking care of yourself.

So… pamper time - Cue my midday face mask 😂

But I also stopped and connected back into my body instead of continuing to sit in my head thinking about it.

I put my awareness into my fingers and palms and actually FELT the energy there, then followed that awareness up through my arms and into my chest and heart space.

I didn’t need to figure out WHY I was feeling the way I was feeling.
I already knew what the energy was doing.

I just needed to STOP fighting with it and ask:

“How does my body want me to process this?”

And then I paid attention to what came up, to what popped into my head straight away.

Once I had that answer, I could actually DO something with it and start creating momentum again instead of sitting there doubting myself and procrastinating because I was stuck in my head.

Sooo the point of this post is that we can be so quick to judge ourselves for how we’re feeling or what we’re doing that we add a whole other layer to it 🫠

Sometimes you don’t need to analyse yourself more!!

Simply notice what’s happening. Come back into your body. Work WITH what’s there instead of making yourself wrong for it.

So if your inner bitch is being particularly loud today, try the exercise out.

Exercise:
Put your awareness on your own energy, sense/ feel into your hands and actually FEEL them. Follow that energy through your body.

Then ask:

How does my body want me to process this?

And see what you get. 💜 by @lexymooreco

A lot of people can tell you when their needs AREN’T being met.

But ask them what that need actually looks like in practice and suddenly it’s… 🤷‍♀️😂

“I need more attention.”
“I need to feel supported.”
“I need more affection.”
“I need to feel appreciated.”

Okay… but what does that actually look like for YOU?

Because my version of support might be completely different to yours.

And if you don’t know, you’re basically asking someone else to figure out the car, find the keys, work out where you want to go AND somehow get you there 🫠

Your needs are YOURS to understand first.

That also means looking at where you’re expecting someone else to give you something you’re not giving yourself.

Then you can actually communicate what you need and give the people in your life a fair chance to meet you there.

They still get to decide whether they can or want to.

But at least they’re not standing in the fucking car yard trying to guess which Toyota is yours 😂

So… can you explain what your needs look like in a relationship? 🤔 by @lexymooreco

You don’t always need to figure everything out before you make a decision.

Sometimes you literally CAN’T.

You don’t have all the information yet because some of that information only comes from actually doing something.

You take a step.
Something happens.
You learn something you couldn’t have known beforehand.
Then you decide what comes next.

But when you’re trying to guarantee that you’re making the right decision before you move, you can spend a hell of a lot of time going around in circles trying to figure something out that you simply don’t have enough information to figure out yet.

And I think that’s where this distinction matters:

Are you actually looking for clarity… or are you looking for certainty that you won’t get it wrong???

Because those are two VERY different things.

You don’t need to know exactly how the whole thing is going to play out.

Sometimes you need to make the best decision you can with what you know now, take the step, and trust yourself to deal with what comes next.

You usually find the clarity you’ve been looking for once you actually start moving. by @lexymooreco

A little evolution has been happening around here…

Over the last few years, my work - and what we’re creating as a team 🥰 - has continued to grow and evolve.

And I’ve become more and more interested in the gap between knowing something and actually living it.

Because you can know what your intuition is telling you and still not follow it.

You can understand exactly why you keep doing something and still do it.

You can know a relationship, job or situation isn’t working and still stay in the same place.

And you can have a really clear vision for what you want your life to look like without actually making the decisions or taking the actions that get you there.

That’s what we’re moving deeper into with Lexy Moore Co.

Using your intuition to actually guide your life.

Understanding yourself - your identity, behaviours, relationships and the shit that gets in your way - so you can change what isn’t working.

Building the self-trust to make different decisions and actually follow through on what you know.

And taking all of that awareness, intuition and understanding and turning it into something tangible in your actual life.

Because I don’t just want you to have another realisation about yourself.

And as a team, we don’t just want to give you more information, insight or guidance.

We want what you discover here to actually change something.

How you see yourself.
How you show up in your relationships.
The decisions you make.
What you create.
What you accept.
And ultimately, the life you’re living.

That’s the next evolution of what we’re creating here.
