10 before the end!?

How is it possible I’m making this?? The year has flown by!
This was actually so tough to make because there are so many books I want to read before the end of the year, but these are simply nonnegotiable! (Probably).

Will we be reading any of the same? 🤭📖✨ taken in Bookstagram by @lexys_library

Our Dark Incantations🖤📖
by @wandahellmund

This has gripped me from the very start!!!

This book is absolute fall vibes. If you’re an HP fan you’re going to love the setup and the magic. I’m LOVING how fanfics are being brought to trad pub but with their own spin that still allows them to stand out from the original works.

If you’re needing something to scratch that fall gothic Hogwarts itch, I think this is it!! I plan to finish over the weekend along with another read. Perks of having free time!!! Plus the real fall weather is hitting us over the weekend and the vibes will be immaculate 🖤🍂✨

“He was much gentler with her than she had ever been with herself.”

Is this on your TBR??

Current reading updates 🩷🖤📖🍂🤭

My two personalities are absolutely split right now so I’m reading both My Unfamiliar by @mararutherfordwrites that releases this December (already obsessed this is exactly what I needed), and Our Dark Incantations by @wandahellmund that releases in a week or so?? I’m also loving that!! Both of the worlds these authors have created are so immersive and are saving me from a fantasy slump!! YAY!!

Fun fact: I actually do love reading and trying new classics. So I’m also about to finish The Master and Margarita, and this book has been absolutely WILD. I have had so much fun with this classic it’s nothing I expected whatsoever. I recently found @thoughtandtitle and her reading guide for this was helpful to look back on. Love her so much!!

The hurricane rain is about to hit so I’ve been soaking up the chilly, breezy, 65 degrees outside. My favorite!! 🍂

What’s everyone reading??

Ok happy Saturday luv u bye 💋 taken in Bookstagram by @lexys_library

6 books to read when..

Every single one of these are perfect for starting and getting into the fall season!! Cooler weather is when I really start breaking out the gothic reads. My favorite ✨

I cannot recommend these enough! They’re all so different and unique in their own ways. I think about them constantly!

Do you have any of these on your TBR? 🤭🖤🍂📚

August wrap up & reading updates!!📚💋

Swipe to the end for all my August reads!!
My five star reads were Immortal Rose and Under the Iron Sky! My lowest was a 3.5, so I had a decent reading month! Video on those coming soon :)

🎧 Currently I’m listening to the audiobook of The Things We Water by @marianazapata and loving it! Paranormal romance with heart and a perfect amount of comedy. Loving it so far!

📖 Currently just finished reading Dead Beat by @lbardugo and I’m fighting for my life not to fall into a slump because it’s so good. I also finished Wench by @booksbyerynne and enjoyed it soooo much, plus our August book club read Theo of Golden. My heart!!! About to do a buddy read with @thispaperdream of The Washwoman at the River’s End, then maybe diving in to something more fall or witchy vibes🤭

✨Been having so much fun watching all the fall movies, getting fresh flowers, and trying to make life as whimsical as I can!

Spending today cleaning up some more after my house flooding yesterday evening!! So fun!! Also getting rid of over 50 books and counting so far that I’ll be posting on Mercari later.. who is she?!

Anywho I thought I’d share another section of my shelves today before everything gets rearranged!! Do you spy any of your favorites??

I hope your coffee tastes great, your book is 5 stars,

What’s in my bag: 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 👜✨

My essentials, always!! Plus a few more things here and there sometimes because I’m just a girl, ok!!

By the way, 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙩𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙁𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙙 by @ravenkennedybooks was so good, and so much fun!!! All I’m going to say is I wish I had sparkly hair, and the Piper is worth your attention! He practically demands it.
Thank you @avonbooks for sending this package over!!

Do our bags look similar or am I simply a chronic overpacker??🤣🤭📚👜✨ taken in Bookstagram by @lexys_library

𝑹𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑼𝒑𝒅𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒔 🤭✨📚

I’d be failing as a fellow reader if I didn’t YELL at all of you from the top of my lungs to go check out @c.l.shivers.author and her books!! I just finished this arc of 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘿𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙜𝙖𝙞𝙣 and I’m mesmerizing by her writing style, this world, this plot, and my feeling are a little hurt by the way this ended and now I have to wait 😂😂😂 This comes out this month and I’m buying it immediately. The amount of annotations I have is insane. I’m addicted to whatever sorcery is in this.

One of my current reads is 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙩𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙁𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙙 by @ravenkennedybooks and thank you a million @avonbooks for gifting me this pr package!! I’m about 50% in and having so much fun.

My husband surprised me with a signed edition of 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙆𝙣𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙈𝙤𝙤𝙣 and an early release copy of 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙄𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙖𝙧𝙮! I am truly so pumped for both. I think I’m going to have to hold off on Knave until it’s no longer 95 degrees where I live so that I can have the full effect but definitely picking it up soon, because I simply cannot wait!

What am I reading next? I’m going to finish up my arc of Burn of the Everflame, finish my alpha read and start my arc of Wench, and maybe Kiss of the Black Flame?? Honestly I have so many arcs, plus there are soooo many releases coming out I simply cannot keep up!! Anyone else feel a little overwhelmed but in the best way??

It’s my mom’s birthday today, and mine is in a couple of weeks on the 26th, so we’re spending the day together going shopping and making our perfume/ candles at a place here in my home town before dinner! And yes, going to the bookstore because we both are readers 🤭
