Visual Music 8.0🪄
Last Friday, I had the most special performance of my life: conducting my own composed music on stage!

It’s hard to believe that this long-awaited performance, something I’ve looked forward to since the start of my studies, has already come and gone… Time flies so quickly!🥹

I am deeply grateful to my dear professor, Mark Watters, for selecting me to join this program two years ago and for your selfless guidance.🫶🏻
A heartfelt thanks to all my incredible studio mates—Silvio Campanaro, @jimliii @ritaveneziale @thedoctorhoo @joeosterstock ---you are all so talented, kind, and generous. Your support has made me, a girl who is far from home, feel so warm and welcomed.🥰I truly hope we can be friends for life, and I can’t wait to see the success in your careers!
Thanks to all the dear friends who braved the heavy snow to attend our concert—and to the lovely girls for the beautiful flowers.🤩
Thank you to all the musicians—your extraordinary performances made this all a reality.👏🏻
Thanks to our behind-the-scenes technical team—your professionalism ensured the smooth execution of the entire concert.🫡

To be honest, a year ago, I couldn’t have imagined how this year would turn out. But now, I can proudly say: I have surpassed my own expectations! I truly cherished every moment of it.🥺

Next up: Look forward to my recital on March 4th at 8:30pm! (Still working hard…)✍🏻 taken in Eastman School of Music by @leya.li

Offstage LA EP02 — Leya Li

From classical conservatory training to composing for film.
From technique and experience to intuition and expression.

For Leya, film scoring is more than serving the image. Through every composition, she continues to discover her own voice.

In this episode of Offstage LA, we follow Leya's creative journey and step into her reflections on music, creativity, and artistic expression.
