2025-26 Georgia FFA North Region State Vice President

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

“You have the power to ignite a fire in yourself and eventually become the mentor for others that you once had yourself. This was my Path of a Passion… What’s yours?” - Leyton Morris 2025-26 Georgia FFA North Region State Vice President How do you squeeze such a monumental year into one single post? That’s the driving question that led to my delay in this post. The past year as a whole has been nothing short of one of my greatest blessings. The students, the opportunities, and most of all my team will not soon be forgotten as you’ve all played a role in igniting the story of who I am and who I will become. To the next 8: The impact you may think you’ll have on the Georgia FFA Association won’t scratch the surface of the impact that it’ll have on you. Take heart in all that you do and soak up every single moment. To my 7 FFA siblings: We did it. It was never easy. But that’s what makes our story that much more inspiring. We laughed, we cried, and we often saw each other more than our own families. We stuck together when it was easy and when not so much and ignited the path for so many who will follow in our footsteps. I’ll forever be grateful for every moment and every person who has played a part in my story. It’s my time to pass the torch. taken in Georgia FFA Association by @leytonm07

This past Friday August 29th, Georgia FFA State Secretary, Levi Layton and State North Reigion Vice President, Leyton Morris, joined Northeast Middle and 8th Street Middle for their annual chapter officer leadership training in Tifton, Georgia. While there, they got to dive into what it means to be a leader and how to prepare as officers to be on fire for this school year. Thank you for a great COLT, and we are excited to see what they accomplish this year!

Exodus 9:16
“But I have raised you up for this very purpose, that I might show you my power and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth“

This verse was shared with me in preparation for the state office candidacy process by a mentor of mine. This time last year was filled with confusion, self-doubt, and disappointment. What I didn’t know was that what seemed to be the bottom was just the beginning of finding my purpose and one of the best years that I never could’ve dreamt.

To Georgia FFA:
Thank you for playing a role as my purpose was revealed right before my eyes. You saw the potential in me and gave me your trust to guide and serve all of the Georgia FFA Association. For that, I will forever be grateful beyond measure.

To John Haven, Makena, Mason, Shelby, Ethan, Emma, Jaxsen, and Carson:
You were All In from the very start. It has been an honor to know each of you personally and serve with some throughout the past few years. This year I strive to embody the leadership qualities and love for this organization that you’ve shown in the past year. Thank you for being exactly who you are, where you are, and when you are.

To our new team:
In the time that we’ve known each other, I can already tell each one of us will serve with all of our heart. I fully believe that this team was handpicked by God for a special purpose that will powerfully change our lives forever. Let’s get after it and make Georgia FFA proud!!

Oh and Mason, it was my honor to present you with your retiring officer pin.😂😬 taken in Macon Centreplex by @leytonm07

National FFA Week always serves as a reminder of all of the memories and friendships I’ve been able to experience and develop over the past year in FFA. This one, however, is just a bit different. In a couple months time, my FFA career will either come to an end or be extended by another year allowing me to invest in the next generation of ag leaders. Through dress up days and meetings this past week, I’ve looked back at everywhere FFA has taken me and the person that I’ve become because of it. These past 7 years are some that I’ll never be able to forget. Some of my closest friends I know because of FFA. Some of my greatest memories come from FFA. I’ll forever be grateful for the National FFA Organization and the people that make it so great.

Hey everyone! As many of you know, I am currently the Vice Chairman of the 2024-25 Georgia National Fairground Livestock Ambassador Team. This year, we have partnered with Middle Georgia Community Food Bank as well as the individual food banks in our local area. This coincides with the annual Fair Food Drive and anything helps! For every $1 that you donate to my page linked through the QR code, the food bank can purchase 8 meals for those in need. For those in my area, I’m also accepting canned goods. Thanks for your support! taken in Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter by @leytonm07

There are officially just a few hours until the start of the Georgia FFA State Office Nominating Committee process. Tonight we will take our test and put to use the countless long hours of studying and researching… all for the chance to SERVE and PROMOTE the 80,000 and counting future agricultural leaders of our great state. Tomorrow morning we’ll start bright and early with the interview process. This opportunity has been a dream of mine since the beginning of my FFA career in the 6th grade. I thank the Lord and @ga_ffa for this incredible opportunity. Let’s make it happen!! by @leytonm07
