Love isn’t measured by the number of days, months, or years you’ve been together. It’s measured by choosing each other every day…even after seeing each other’s weird habits for 18 years. 😜

Happy 18th Anniversary to my best friend, soulmate, favorite travel buddy, and lifelong partner in crime. I still can’t believe you’ve willingly put up with me for this long—and even crazier, I keep choosing you too!

We’ve built a pretty incredible life together, created the best little family, surviving some amazing trips, stressful moments, and all the random adventures in between. Somehow, we still manage to laugh through it all (even when you’re wrong 😉).

Thank you for loving me, making me laugh, and being my favorite person to annoy every single day. I wouldn’t trade this crazy, beautiful life—or you—for anything. Here’s to many more years of adventures, inside jokes, and pretending to know what we’re doing. I love you! ❤️ by @lezleighd

Wyatt had a few days off before his summer ends, so we snuck off to Florida for some Universal adventures!

It was a quick trip but full of awesome memories:
* his best friend was there at the same time
* special VIP tour of the MIB ride’s first floor
* desserts at Bar Helios and a night in a park view suite at Helios
* walking onto the Ministry ride at rope drop
* meeting the Epic mascot, Captain Cacoa
* and sooooo much more!

See you for Halloween Horror Nights in Sept/Oct! by @lezleighd

Wyatt’s team played up in a 15U tournament this weekend! They battled some major level teams and some very talented 15U teams and tied for second only missing the championship game by a tie breaker!

Not bad for a group of 14u players that just started together last weekend! by @lezleighd

Wyatt’s baseball tournament this week has him playing two games at Colleyville! Never thought I’d see him play on this field, but brought back lots of memories from teaching and coaching there!

He had so much fun telling all the players all about AJ and Bobby Witt, Jr. You never know the impact you are making on a little guy! He was only 7-9 when both of them were in HS but he still follows them daily!

PS-that State Championship banner in right field needs to be redone but make sure to keep the iconic CH on it. It’s super faded!

Baseball never ends at our house!

Summer league started this weekend with a new mix of players for Stix West 14U. These guys played in an open tournament with a mix of major level teams.

It was a good start to the season watching the new team mix together. Excited to see how the team melds together next weekend! by @lezleighd

Spent ten amazing days in Denver/Aurora, Colorado for BPA. It was such an amazing experience that I kept having to pinch myself that I was there doing this job!

Our BPA Executive Officers were beyond amazing and we have some great servant leader based plans for the year.

It was a week full of laughs and tons of memories! Can’t wait to get this year started with #TeamElevateBPA and our BPA staff! @officers_bpa @bpaconnect by @lezleighd

I had the honor to spend this week with the amazing #IAMNMCTSO State Officers helping train them for the year and guide them through creating their Programs of Work for the year!

This group was on another level and made everything beyond fun and so easy to teach and lead! I can’t wait for them to get things going for the year! New Mexico CTSOs are in great and talented hands this year! by @lezleighd

It was a HOTTTT weekend for some Texas Stix West baseball!⚾️

We had a late Saturday due to delayed and a long game and early morning Sunday to start our day, but the fields in Mansfield were perfection!

Wyatt had a great weekend between pitching, making some awesome plays in the outfield and at first, hitting, running bases and scoring. An all around great couple of days for our baseball kid!

We will be up bright and early again tomorrow as summer XC and strength and conditioning begins for our Freshmen! 🤯 by @lezleighd

Another weekend of baseball! This weekend was different as it was a prospects tournament just for Stix teams!

It was so awesome to see how big the Stix organization has grown since I first heard about it when I was coaching at Colleyville.

Wyatt’s team got beat out today by a pretty amazing team but he had some amazing catches in center field, too! I was finally able to actually catch him in action out there! Proud of the pic of him jumping up! by @lezleighd

Sometimes AI is amazing! Love both of these! A little scary that it’s always watching but then also so cool to see what it sees about me!

Prompt for ChatGPT:
Please draw the character in the image, “Insert your name” in a free and stripped sketch style. On a bright white background, freely distribute full-body drawings, face close-ups, small scribbles, full-body sketches and chibi/deformed versions, so that the page conveys the character's humor and personality. Don't do it like an organized character sheet, but like a sketchbook full of information drawn at will by an illustrator and then stacked.
Use everything ChatGPT knows about me from our conversations, including my personality, habits, strengths, quirks, profession, and overall vibe, to imagine how an illustrator would interpret me as a character. by @lezleighd

8th Grade awards and Wyatt brought home the Advanced Science Awards. He also got his yearbook and I snapped a few pics from it. Love that his school does a great job catching pics of different kids each year! by @lezleighd
