This lineup is insane. Listening to just one @julezandtherollerz or @zinnias_garden song will send you into a rock n roll trance. We’re so freaking excited for this show. Get to @poetrypgh next Monday at 7pm! See you then ❤️

STUDIO SPOTLIGHT: Pittsburgh based Lez Paul is a queer indie-alt band from Pittsburgh, combining catchy riffs with stories about life, Pittsburgh, and fish.

I suppose this relationship started some years ago, when Nina, Kate, and Lauren would come into my old restaurant, @oakhillpgh, for weekend breakfast. They were always some of my favorite customers to serve, so you can imagine that I was pretty excited to get to work with their band, @lezpaulband, on their first full-length studio recording!

One of the most challenging, and enjoyable, aspects of recording is getting to know exactly what it is that you will be capturing. Every artist is different, and there is no one solution to getting great-sounding recordings. Great-sounding recordings are all about context. What sounds great for one artist might not sound great for another, and the most important part of my job in the studio is to find what makes an artist sound awesome and connect the intent of that artist with the expectations of their fans in a thoughtful and accurate way.

So what makes this unique band sound great? It’s their relationships to each other and the music that they create. What I found working with Lez Paul is a tight-knit group of friends and musicians with an unwavering dedication to making space for each other, their creative aspirations, and their community. I couldn’t have asked for a better client to work with.

Look for their full-length record coming soon. by @lezpaulband

🚨SHOW ANNOUNCEMENT🚨
Sunday April 26th! @edging.band w/ @lezpaulband & @aberrantkingdom

Tickets on sale now at clubcafelive.com

Fear no more freaks, Edging is here to liberarte you with heavy riffs, searing sax, and queer chaos! Edgings punk fueled songs delve deep into the complexities of the human experience. Drawing from human rights, trans and queer identities, societies inevitable collapse and well, frustration. The band channels this emotion into one of the most high energy shows you can experience. It’s high time the current world got fucked by an Edging show.

This International Women’s Day was unforgettable! Lots of firsts for us: first time playing at Kent Stage, first time watching ourselves on the silver screen, first time hearing our songs on a soundtrack… omg it was just amazing.

Witchy Boots made us laugh, cry, hoot, and holler. Thank you so much to the Phils for including us on such an amazing project. When the film makes its Pittsburgh debut, everyone needs to show up and show these guys that Pittsburgh supports women in brewing 🍻

Shout out to @ninaxiup and @littlelopgh for doing a great job in the film and always making sure we have enough beer for band practice.
