A few days late, but apparently they grew an entire year while I wasn’t looking. 😭

Xander is off to 1st grade and TJ is somehow already in 4th. Same uniforms, longer legs, bigger personalities, and significantly more opinions. 😂

Please see exhibit A for how it started vs. how it’s going. Still twinning… just taking up a lot more space now. 💚

Two very different courts. Two very proud moments. ❤️

Last week, Xander graduated kindergarten and TJ spent Friday night competing in a charity 3v3 basketball tournament.

One is closing a chapter filled with sight words, show-and-tell, and learning how to be a student. The other is learning about teamwork, competition, and using sports to give back to the community.

As parents, it’s easy to get caught up in the logistics, schedules, practices, homework, and everything in between. Days like these remind me to pause and appreciate just how much they’re growing.

So proud of both of my boys, not just for what they accomplish, but for the kind, funny, resilient young people they’re becoming.

10 years, 2 kids, countless games, group texts, laundry piles, and approximately 47,000 “what’s for dinner?” conversations later… we’re still here.

Honestly impressive for two people who started this whole thing without fully developed frontal lobes. 😂

Happy 10 years to my favorite teammate, travel partner, and occasional source of stress. ❤️ by @lezzyface

UNDEFEATED at the AAU Grand Prix in Wellington this weekend. 🏀😮‍💨

@versatilityhoops went 4-0 like it was light work. Defense, hustle, big rebounds, TEAM ball.

So proud of these boys!!

And because AAU life builds character (for kids and parents), we’re right back in Wellington next weekend to run it back. #basketball #ballislife #aau #hoopers #jenkinspartyof4 taken in Wellington, Florida by @lezzyface

When your youngest dictates the message and your oldest executes it. Pure love, pure sincerity, and somehow a legally binding agreement that I’m always right. I will be keeping this forever... No lawyers were present, but I’m confident it’s legally binding.💙 taken in Delray Beach, Florida by @lezzyface

So 10 days ago I had reconstructive cervical spine surgery and now I’m officially part human, part titanium. Iron Man could never!

Definitely wasn’t on my 2025 bingo card, but somehow I’m already feeling stronger, and looking less like I just fought a dragon.

Shoutout to my amazing medical team and the village keeping me upright (literally)! And Tyler, who clearly missed his calling as a nurse because he has been on duty since day one. Back to myself… and back to work in 2026. 😌 taken in Delray Beach, Florida by @lezzyface

Fall Fun Day Performance, but make it a gritty drama instead of musical theater. 😂🎭🍁

Everyone else came to smile and sparkle... Xander came to deliver an emotional performance piece about the realities of kindergarten life. 😓No smiles. No fluff. Just pure commitment to the craft. #methodacting #fallfunday #xander #kindergarten #jenkinspartyof4 taken in Pine Crest School by @lezzyface

Spent the weekend in a freezing cold gym that smelled like victory and 11-year-old sneakers. Totally worth it—TJ and his Versatility Hoops crew brought home the CHAMPIONSHIP! 🏆 #TournamentLife #BasketballMom #WorthTheLaundry taken in West Palm Beach - Florida by @lezzyface

These photos were taken only a year apart. The growth-- physically, emotionally, intellectually-- since then has blown me away. Can't wait to see what the next 12 months brings! #newbeginnings #growingtoofast taken in Delray Beach, Florida by @lezzyface
