Yesterday, members of the Lock Haven Social Work Club had the privilege of attending the APSCUF Affordable College Act Rally in Harrisburg!💙🏛️

We are incredibly grateful for the students, faculty, staff, and fellow Commonwealth University campuses, who stood alongside us to advocate for affordable, accessible higher education.

The rally called for a 15% increase in public higher education funding and passage of the Pennsylvania Promise to help make college more affordable for students across Pennsylvania. Education should be an opportunity, not a financial burden, and every student deserves the chance to pursue their future without cost standing in the way!

As future social workers, we are proud to support a cause rooted in equity, opportunity, and meaningful change. Thank you to everyone who showed up and made their voices heard!💙
