I will never rewatch Lock Upp Season 2. In fact, I'm going to skip today's and tomorrow's finale episodes because this show has left me emotionally drained. Instead of being an entertaining reality show, it became a source of frustration and disappointment for me.

The excessive bias and the feeling that many moments were scripted completely ruined my interest in the show. Watching constant judgment, gossip, character assassination, remarks about contestants' families, and comments on their financial backgrounds was deeply uncomfortable. If humiliating people and targeting someone's vulnerabilities is considered entertainment, then this is not the kind of content I want to watch.

In a game, it is natural that some contestants prioritize themselves, while others choose to stand by someone they genuinely care about. Neither approach deserves unnecessary hatred. Unfortunately, the makers failed to create situations that felt fair and engaging. Very few moments made me feel that the competition was balanced or unbiased.

The breakdown of friendships, relationships, and even brotherhood throughout the season was heartbreaking to watch. Healthy criticism is acceptable, but turning it into endless hate and personal attacks is not. There is a difference between criticizing someone's gameplay and attacking their character.

I believe people should be allowed to learn from their mistakes, grow, and rebuild themselves instead of being permanently judged. Everyone deserves a chance to improve and move forward.

After witnessing so much unfairness and negativity, I can honestly say that watching Lock Upp Season 2 has been one of my biggest entertainment disappointments. Sadly, it is a show I would neither recommend nor revisit.

Harshad's unexpected sacrificial exit deeply affected her conscience. The guilt, confusion, and overwhelming emotions led to an outburst that was unfortunately perceived in the worst possible way. However, one emotional reaction under immense pressure shouldn't define a person's entire character.
I don't see Shivangi as an inhuman, selfish, arrogant, or cunning person. I see someone who was emotionally immature in handling an extremely difficult situation inside a high-pressure reality show. Real-life relationships and reality-show dynamics are vastly different, and no one truly understands that pressure unless they've experienced it.
Instead of judging her solely based on one phase of the journey, I hope people allow her the time and space to reflect, learn, and grow. Situations reveal our strengths and weaknesses, and growth comes from acknowledging both. Criticism is fair, but hatred is unnecessary. Compassion and patience often lead to a better understanding than constant condemnation.

Shivangi isn't entirely right or entirely wrong. From my perspective, this situation is far more complex than people are making it out to be.
At the end of the day, this is a reality game show where everyone is playing for themselves. From the very beginning, Shivangi was honest that her game would always remain her priority, and she stayed true to that. At the same time, her friendship with Harshad was never completely one-sided. She stood by him on several occasions, just as Harshad was emotionally available and supportive of her throughout the journey.
Where things went wrong was in understanding each other's emotions. Harshad's feelings often went unnoticed because Shivangi, perhaps due to past controversies and the constant scrutiny around their bond, struggled to acknowledge them openly. Watching Harshad's journey left me emotional. Personally, I wish he hadn't given up his finalist spot for someone who still had doubts about his friendship. At times, I felt he carried emotions that went beyond words, but perhaps life had a different plan for him—one that protected him from another heartbreak.

It still feels heavy to put these thoughts into words because I'm genuinely stunned by how everything unfolded. But through it all, Harshad showed something rare: honesty, vulnerability, kindness, and genuine emotions without pretending to be someone else.

You reminded everyone that being compassionate and emotionally expressive is a strength, not a weakness. Your journey reflected real-life experiences that many people silently go through.

There was never any foul play, pretence, or manipulation in his journey. He stood by his values, stayed grounded in his thoughts, and never compromised his principles.

Harshad is the real winner.

A man who chose himself for the first time in the show, yet when his friend faced eviction, he sacrificed his own place to ensure she reached the finale. That speaks volumes about his loyalty, kindness, and selflessness. People like Harshad are rare today. You truly deserve a world filled with the same love and loyalty that you give to others.

Today, I don't have the heart to write for Shivangi. She accepted his sacrifice and let him walk out instead of stepping out for him to show even a little of the same selflessness. What disappointed me more was that she lost her composure afterwards, blaming others for Harshad's exit instead of accepting the situation.

At this point, it's beyond the game. Once again, Harshad proved he gives everything for people who may not value him the same way. I only hope this makes Shivangi reflect on herself and realize how deeply she became consumed by the game that she lost a part of who she truly is.

What made things worse was Harshad later crying, asking everyone to show kindness to Shivangi, and even requesting Shreya—someone who has been against Shivangi—to save her. After already portraying her as someone using him, that sympathy looked contradictory and only strengthened the negative narrative against her.
At the same time, Shivangi also made mistakes. She was heartbroken and emotionally affected by everything Harshad said, which is understandable. However, she shouldn't have let those emotions stop her from congratulating him as a friend. If that felt too difficult because of the guilt and the narrative created around her, she should have calmly discussed the deserving vs. undeserving issue with Chamola instead of reacting emotionally.
Overall, I believe Shivangi simply wanted to play for herself in a finale task, just as Harshad wanted to play for himself. The real issue wasn't her decision—it was Harshad's confusing and emotionally insensitive pitch, which completely changed the perception of the situation and turned the narrative against Shivangi.

Shivangi vs Harshad – My Perspective
If Harshad is justified in playing for himself in a crucial task to prove his worth, then why is Shivangi criticised for doing the same? From the beginning, Shivangi has always said she's playing for herself, while also making it clear that Harshad is her priority whenever he genuinely needs her. She has proved that through her actions—securing him four times, including ensuring his re-entry. Their support has always been mutual: Harshad stood by her emotionally and in her fights, and Shivangi did the same for him.
The cage task changed the narrative only because Shivangi chose herself in a finale-level situation. That doesn't make her selfish. Instead of trying to convince her with a strong pitch, Harshad said, "I can't convince her, take her, she won't understand," and emotionally added that he intentionally lost the task to make her win. That kind of statement can break someone you claim to care about.
People say Shivangi delayed her exit, but that's not what happened. After Harshad's statements made it seem like she was using him, she clarified that she has always played for herself and never asked anyone for support or sacrifices. She repeatedly asked Ritesh to open the door. Before leaving, she simply went to riteshd for one last hug to seek comfort, then immediately walked away. It wasn't a tactic to delay her departure.
