Lastly, a big shout out to @liam0hare and @anumberofnames for making this evening happen.

Who/what is @lajeeceltic???

In 2016, Celtic Football Club was fined by UEFA following their fans' consistent support for Palestine. The response was the launch of a fundraiser -- not to pay the fine but to give it to the Palestinian people. Half of the money went to Aida Camp (in the West Bank) and helped establish Lajee Celtic Football Club.

Ten years on, Lajee Celtic has evolved into a multi-sports club and has supported hundreds of young people in Aida Camp and across Palestine to develop their sporting talent and potential, despite the restrictions imposed by the occupation. taken in Dalston Shacklewell Lane by @liam0hare

Our doc ‘In Search of the Beautiful Game’ is now on iPlayer and on the box tonight 🇧🇷 🏐

Had worse gigs than being asked to go to Brazil with @kevinbridgescomedian to make a film about the soul of football. What a buzz to work with one of Glasgow’s best.

Some team involved, @madebytf, @hlandulfo, Lannah, and all at @bangostudios.

Thanks to all at @torcidaindependenteoficial for welcoming us, particularly @marcelo.ultras, @aggro77 and @regisulisseslopes, and @lizspereira1111, @danielsouza9377 and the people of Cantagalo favela. To @leosaldiva and @negomalaoficial for bringing the beauty of Varzea football to us, @higo_carvalho33 for knowing everyone in São Paolo and to @shousherphotography for giving us faith in fitba fans in the US.
