We travelled with Yemeni government forces through the mountains west of Taiz, towards the frontline closest to Mokha.

Houthi fighters seized Mokha earlier this month, and the fighting is now pushing inland towards Taiz. What happens here matters far beyond Yemen: the nearby Bab al-Mandab Strait is one of the world’s busiest shipping routes.

But for the families fleeing their homes and the wounded arriving at Taiz’s hospitals, the cost is already here.

Houthi fighters made major gains overnight, pushing closer to the heart of Taiz city.

This was the constant sound we heard during our time there — gunfire and explosions echoing from the mountains.

Every morning, we’d ask ourselves whether it was time to leave. What if the city fell while we were still there?

We’ve now left Taiz, but I can’t stop thinking about the families we met who are still there, weighing up far harder choices about whether to stay or flee their homes.

Our full report is coming soon. #Yemen #Taiz taken in Taiz, Yemen by @liam_weir

A blacked-out car and No phones.

We were driven to a building on the outskirts of Beirut’s southern suburbs to meet Wafiq Safa - one of Hezbollah’s most senior political figures.

We recorded this interview just as Donald Trump was preparing to announce a ceasefire.

In a world exclusive, Safa makes it clear: Hezbollah will not abide by it unless their conditions are met - and they will “never ever” disarm.

Our second report from Taiz — a city where the threat of snipers and artillery follows families through the streets, into their homes and on the journey to school.

During our time there, we met children risking their lives for an education, and parents trying to keep them safe. We’ve left, but I keep thinking about the families we met and the fear they live with every day.

Reported with producer Jasmin Dyer and camera journalist Liam Weir.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted a showreel. It’s been a busy year so far so it’s been hard to find the time, but it’s always nice putting it together and looking back on what you’ve achieved. I’m lucky to have the opportunity to work in such amazing places, meet brilliant people along the way, and hear their stories. I didn’t imagine growing up that this would be my life, but I am extremely grateful I get to do what I love for a living. #videography #journalism by @liam_weir

On April 8th at 2:15pm, over 100 bombs fell across Lebanon in just ten minutes.

We’ve spent weeks piecing together the events, speaking to families, walking through destroyed homes and verifying strikes nationwide.

In Hay El Sellom, Mohammed showed me the spot where his son was killed when the building collapsed on top of him. I’ll never forget how his son had slept in his bed that day only to be buried under three floors while his bedroom remained untouched.

In central Beirut, Noha took me back to her gym. She was on the balcony having a cigarette break when multiple strikes hit the building next door.

In Sidon, parents showed me the bedroom of their daughters who went to pray and never returned.

The scale of destruction is staggering.

Parents stand in the bedrooms that their children will never return to, a heartbreaking sight.

The Lebanese health ministry reported 361 deaths that day, the vast majority being civilians.

The Israeli military claims it targeted Hezbollah operatives and infrastructure.

Ten minutes, 100 bombs. Can you even imagine? Got to work with a dream team @jasmindyer @tacchijake @liam_weir @bluehousefilm @hamoontehrani and @sgmotiondesign ❤️
