I like to believe that I’ve made it out of my hardest years. The tears I’ve cried in my twenties, are about to be rewarded in an abundance of blessings. Everything i’ve walked through, has prepared me for this path. I heard that your 30’s are just your 20’s with more money, happiness, and love… that’s what I look forward to. I’ve been intentional with my prayers for this new age, so if you see me as a wife, mother, boss, and more… just know I prayed for it.

Since becoming a mom-to-be I’ve enjoyed this new transition of having slow mornings, taking the day at my own pace, getting things done & making time for myself. Not every day looks the same… some are busy with doctor’s appointments, baby shopping, family events, travel, or just resting at home.

One thing I do know is that I can always count on my @preppinwithpurpose meal preps to come in handy on those busy days, or even the slow ones. Healthy meals, great taste/flavor, and time saved in the kitchen?! I’ll take it. These meal preps have made my days and nights go so much smoother! 🥗🧘🏻‍♀️🍲

In August, I was met with a lot of adversity. I cried, laughed, had a lot of lonely days, good ones surrounded by my favorite people, asked God questions daily, new beginnings and been missing my Dad on more days than I could count. It’s true, most people only show you what they want you to see on social media. No one shows the bad, the ugly parts. Pregnancy has been hard, and although I’m so grateful, it’s inevitably been the toughest spiritual battle. I found a lot of time for just me and God, because I refuse to doubt him or go astray. Came too far for that. It’s just life I guess… a revelation that I’ve had to come to terms with — and keep going for the little person inside of me that needs me. So, we heal.

My biggest blessing. My whole world. My newest best friend for life. Half of me, and half of you. 🤍♾️

Our baby shower was an absolute dream. Intimate, intentional, full of love and support from our family & friends. That’s all we ever could’ve asked for. Walking into the venue and seeing everything for the first time made months of planning, stressing, and all the in between so worth it. Our baby boy has been showered with an immense amount of love already, and we’re just truly grateful. Because as we said in our speeches, you all could’ve been anywhere in the world.. and chose to spend such a special day celebrating baby boy with us. Priceless.

Thank you to everyone who attended, sent or bought gifts, all of our vendors, event decorator, our host… everyone who played a part in making this day absolutely memorable for us. We simply can’t thank you enough. Love yall! 🫶🏼

Being an expecting mama has definitely changed the way I move, and one thing I’ve learned is that sometimes taking something off your plate is exactly what you need. 🤎
