In all my years in AI, this was my toughest challenge yet:

Rebuild a 46-person accountancy firm to be AI-native.
With no prior experience in the field.
In 4 days.

My team and I had the privilege of working with one of the sharpest entrepreneurs of my generation @joshthomas in Marbella this summer to bring @thomasandcointernational into the AI era.

When the system we built is scaled out across the rest of the org, the time for an account manager to deliver a full stack of client working papers will be slashed by 80-90%.

For fast growing companies like these, that means rapidly scaling revenue without proportional increases in headcount.

& as usual, we had a blast while doing it!! 🏌🏼‍♂️🛥️

When I moved to Dubai 4 years ago, I joined an online community called Tribe founded by @arlin

Joining Tribe connected me with a small group of people who’d go on to change the course of my life completely.

And earlier this summer I spent a week with Arlin in Ibiza doing a full AI Makeover for his businesses!

I can’t describe how rewarding it is to be able to help founders I believe in and admire like Arlin to fully realize the power of AI in their business. And have a ton of fun while we do it.

Since the Makeover, Arlin has gone from strength to strength, being able to fully express his creativity in the software realm, building new things constantly for 8am in preparation for his upcoming event in Uluwatu.

I’ll be there, so join me, Arlin and 100+ other creatives, founders and artists in for @8amuluwatu from 18th - 23rd!! Going to be a one of a kind experience.

Earlier this year my career in AI came to a turning point.

Despite achieving all of my financial goals, when I looked back on my past 18 months of work I realised I hadn’t really enjoyed any of it.

I had built myself a pair of golden handcuffs that ensured riches in exchange for my happiness.

And though life isn’t all about happiness and finding the path of least resistance, the thought of sitting in front of a camera to crank out “make money with AI” videos for the next 3+ years made me feel sick to my stomach.

But when you have a team of 60 people depending on you making said videos, you’re in a tricky spot.

So back in April I decided to take some time off to clear my head and find a way out of my predicament. I went on an @edgeglobal trip to the Komodo islands with @tomstrickland and @tommyrys_ and while surrounded by beautiful people and the beauty of nature, I asked myself the right question…

I’d always seen my life and a career as a choice between two poles:

Lock in in one spot and grind and grow.

OR

Travel, meet new people, experience new cultures, broaden my understanding of the world and create memories.

But I’d never stopped to ask “why not both???”

And as soon as I asked that question, my subconscious, the universe, God and whatever else there is to this reality that we can’t perceive began to work in my favour.

Eventually the answer came to me, and I call it “AI Makeover”.

The first episode is live.

How I used AI to get in the best shape of my life:

Over the past few months I’ve been experimenting heavily with using AI to optimize my health and training by applying the same Claude Code based system I use to operate and automate my businesses.

As someone who never really goes to the doctor apart from general health checkups, this has been a breakthrough in gaining a deep understanding of my body and in my personal autonomy outside of the medical system (which I have some serious doubts about…) as someone who travels constantly.

As with any AI system, input data is everything. I created a HealthOS folder in my Claude Code workspace (see my other recent post on what this is) and fed it with:
- My entire history of blood panels
- My current supplement stack
- My goals (e.g. build lean muscle mass, increase energy and focus)
- My entire genome (exported from Ancestry)
- My current training plan (weights, cardio)
- My recovery protocols (sauna, cold plunge)
- My peptide stack (finishing first cycle now, pics are PRE peptides!!)
- My diet and eating schedule
- All my past Whoop data

With all this in one place, I have a world class doctor with full context of my health + access to deep research capabilities to find the latest science about any topic (e.g. sauna protocol for my goals) when I want to add or improve an aspect of my health.

Adding the gene export was a huge unlock and helped me to identify my genetic risks and also highlight key traits (esp. dopamine system quirks) that explain a lot about my personality and has given me so much more knowledge about what supps to take, and how my brain and body work different to most people.

I am well aware of the dangers of obsession with optimization and have since pulled back to the right balance of actionable info while still being able to enjoy life (stopped wearing whoop for now…).

Regardless, having this as a resource for managing my own health feels like a superpower, and I’ve seen incredible results.

Would recommend to anyone wanting to learn more about their body without relying on big pharma’s minions to tell you which meds to get hooked on!

Some pics from my first AIOS/Claude Code mastermind in Cape Town 🤙🏼

I spent the day helping 7 founders setup Claude Code AI Operating Systems for their businesses. The founders ranged from AI agency owners to completely non technical, traditional business owners.

Each one of them walked away with an AI Operating System that had full context of their business and direct integrations to the core platforms that the company runs on. With this incredibly powerful AI workspace setup where they can run their entire business from one app, we wrapped up by creating a custom automation from scratch using my /explore command that guides even non technical founders through building agents, apps and automations from scratch.

While this first run through definitely revealed some gaps for future resources to make the process smoother for founders, the fact that each of them got up and running with Claude Code and were building independently by the end gives me a huge amount of hope for the rate of adoption of this tech for SMBs.

The reality is that SMBs have a small window to use this to their advantage while enterprise is too slow and bureaucratic to apply it. When they do it will only help them continue to consolidate wealth and dominance of markets globally, so we much act now.

The past 2 months in AI have been the wildest I have seen in over 3 years of actively building in the space.

If you’re a founder wondering where this is all going, here’s all you need to know: 
1) In ~5 years, most businesses will run on an AI operating system, or AIOS for short.

2) An AIOS is based around one central AI that knows your whole business, plugged into all your tools and data sources. You and your team work from inside it.

3) We have primitive versions of these already using Claude Code. I’ve been helping other founders set them up via both in person masterminds and through my program. The shift in speed of execution for tasks and projects is insane. 
4) An AIOS starts with context. Export your ChatGPT or Claude chats and feed it in. Tell the AI your strategy, your team, your priorities once and you’ll never have to tell it again.   5) Connect the tools you already use. CRM, Stripe, Google Analytics, Meta Ads. Get API keys and allow your AIOS to pull data in and take actions for you.

6) Once this foundation is there, building agents, automations and internal apps is stupidly fast. Sales pipelines, dashboards, content systems in days not quarters. 
7) And no, you don’t need to be technical. Claude Code is an incredible teacher. Give it a screenshot and tell it where you’re stuck. It figures it out. You just have to be okay being uncomfortable for a bit. 
8) Forget OpenClaw. It sucks mega ass compared to a proper AIOS  9) The AI agency model is juicier (and easier) than ever. People in my program are flying out to do installs and getting thousands for setups and fat retainers for ongoing work. 
10) And if you are trying to sell this…stay away from enterprise. Small businesses under 100 people is where the money is without the red tape.
