Why are @gbnews presenters teaming up with people like Tristan Tate to “attack” the LGBTQ+ community? Why is a journalist saying “nothing matters more” than using his platform to demonise trans people? Why is this pattern so common if it doesn’t reflect the channel’s core values? Three anti-LGBTQ+ quotes aired on @gbnews in three weeks, we campaigned and a record-breaking number of @ofcom.org.uk complaints rolled in, a GB News panelist called me a slur in my comments, a presenter threatened me with his lawyer, nobody said “sorry” for any of it… yet several outlets have gone as far as reporting an apology that was never issued. This is how they get away with it. These toothless write-ups are harming more than they’re helping. I’m calling on a publication with guts to start writing about this accurately #lgbtq #gbnews #ukpolitics by @liamrondi
