Iron Maiden, The HU - (October 22, 2024) - (Xcel Energy Center) - (The Future Past Tour) 1 year ago, on October 22, 2024. Me and my dad went to see The HU, and Iron Maiden perform at Xcel Energy Center. The day before the show I got back from Florida from the 77 Lancers trip to Disney, and of course I was sleepy a bit, but I knew I had a concert so I slept on the plane and car until I got home so I could have enough energy to see them in concert, I got a piece of merch that I loved so much, and it was the last one in my size so I was thankful for it, The HU came on and they played their hits, I was very interested in their music since they were from Mongolia. Then Iron Maiden came on and stole the show, they played songs from their albums “Somewhere in Time”, and “Sejunstu” and very few of their hit songs, which made me kinda mad a bit, but I didn't hate it. This show was also the day after their former frontman “Paul Di’Anno” died, they played a song in tribute for him called “The Time Machine”. They were amazing, I don't regret seeing them live, and I will never forget this. Thank you for taking me Dad, I love you. Paul McCartney, Chris Holmes - (October 17, 2025) - (U.S. Bank Stadium, Minneapolis, MN) - (Got Back Tour) 9 months ago, on October 17, 2025. Me, my sister, my mother, my aunt, and my grandparents went to go see Chris Holmes, and Paul McCartney perform at the U.S. Bank Stadium. This all started as a joke to my grandparents of how we should see Paul McCartney because I had told them he was performing nearby. A couple of days before the show, she told me we were going. I never heard the news of us going to see him, she told me that some of our family were going to the show with us. We never saw an opener play at the show, but he performed on a DJ and played some stuff, from what I remember, I did hear nothing much. Then the guy from a band who inspired MANY bands/artists, and genres. Paul McCartney, came on. We had a great time, his wife was in the audience, he played his hits from his solo work and The Beatles. and when “Hey Jude” came on, we sang it to our grandmother since her name is Jude. Paul McCartney did an amazing job performing, and It was an amazing time seeing him live and an honor to see a legend perform live in front of me and my family. I will never forget about it. Thank you so much mom, I love you. Foreigner, Lita Ford - (September 28, 2024) - (Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center, Mankato, MN) - (The Historic Farewell Tour) One year ago, on September 28, 2024. Me, my father, and my sister saw Lita Ford, and Foreigner perform at Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center. This was my second time seeing Foreigner after I liked their first show. Lita Ford opened the show with her original songs before playing some cover songs from other famous artists. Then Foreigner came on and stole the show, they played all their hits and during their song “I Want To Know What Love Is”. Mankato West’s Choir came on to sing with them since they won the competition. Every time Foreigner plays in a city, schools will compete against other schools to sing with their choir. I got jealous of this and was bummed but didn't really care that much. In the end, it was an amazing performance that I will never forget about, thank you so much dad, I love you. Bret Michaels, Stephen Pearcy, SIIN - (September 13, 2025) - (Vetter Stone Amphitheater, Mankato, MN) - (Bend Of The River Ball Festival 2025) Six months ago, on September 13, 2025. Me and my mom saw SIIN, Stephen Pearcy, and Bret Michaels perform at Vetter Stone Amphitheater for the Bend Of The River Ball Festival. This was on a competition performance date for the Mankato 77 Lancers Marching Band which I was not reminded or told of and we had gotten the tickets before hand, thankfully there was a deal that we made that would get me to the concert, if I stayed and supported them for the first half, I would be good to go to the concert. Great White was also scheduled to perform there but couldn’t due to weather issues at their previous concert. SIIN was amazing, I had a fun time listening to their songs, I also meeted someone there in the crowd that I had fun with. Stephen Pearcy then came on next, and I had a blast singing all the songs, and enjoyed myself big time, then Bret Michaels came on, he stole the show and was an amazing performer, I also sang all the of songs that he played and had a good time, and I took my shirt off the ending portion of the show mostly cause I was having fun, I got to touch Bret’s hand which was also amazing and got to meet some of his members backstage. It was an amazing concert which I will never forget, and remember forever, thank you mom, love you. Linkin Park, Jean Dawson - (August 27, 2025) - (Target Center, Minneapolis, MN) - (From Zero World Tour) Six months ago, on August 27, 2025, Me, my mom, and my dad, went to see Jean Dawson, and Linkin Park to perform at the Target Center. This was their first time performing in Minnesota after 11 years ever since Chester’s death. The performance was also dedicated to Minneapolis, and to the victims and families of the Minneapolis Annunciation Catholic Church shooting, which happened 12 hours before Linkin Park and Jean Dawson took the stage to perform. Jean Dawson took the stage and was amazing with his band, then Linkin Park took the stage and absolutely murdered it with their new lead singer, and drummer, and I'm gonna be honest, probably one of the best shows of 2025 I went to, they played a lot of their hits, and songs from their new album, and in the end, it was amazing. This will be a day I will never forget, thank you mom and dad, I love you. Kidz Bop - (August 24, 2019) - (Vetter Stone Amphitheater, Mankato, MN) - (World Tour 2019) Six years ago, Me and my mom went to see Kidz Bop perform at Vetter Stone Amphitheater, I never asked to go see them, but I believe I was bored, so my mom bought tickets for me to go see them with her. I had a blast. This happened when I was 9, so I don’t remember the kids who performed up there, but there was one kid who did the drums, and the others were singing and stuff, I knew some of the songs they covered and stuff, they also had an intermission and played some more songs that I knew, and I had a good time, on the way out, I had an injury, I believe I may have injured a bone on my legs, when I was standing and dancing, but this will be a day I will never forgot, thank you mom, I love you. Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top, Uncle Kracker - (August 17, 2023) - (Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre, Maryland Heights, MO) - (Sharp Dressed Simple Man Tour) Two years ago, on August 17, 2023. Me, my sister, my dad, and my cousin, went to see Uncle Kracker, ZZ Top, and Lynyrd Skynyrd at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheater, this was my second time seeing another band outside of my Minnesota which was pretty cool, Uncle Kracker went on stage and killed it and played covers from some famous artists, then ZZ Top came on and they were amazing, their beards really threw me off and I sang to all of their hit songs, and this was the only show I got to see with Frank Beard before his death on August 17, 2026. He was an amazing drummer. Then Lynyrd Skynyrd came on, and stole the show, they played all their hits songs as well, then when their last song came on, that everyone heckled about, that we were also apart of, they played one of their biggest hits ever with one of the best guitar solos in the world, Free Bird, during the concert my sister’s head hurt badly, but still had fun with us too, it was an amazing night I will never forget, thank you so much dad, love you.
