Swap backgrounds, make bollards fly, or turn up the wind. I made these effects with Seedance 2.5.

Here are four features to try👇
1. Reshoot just the part you want to change. Select a few seconds, describe the adjustment, then regenerate that section and replace it in the original video. For example, make the wind stronger at the beginning without regenerating the entire video.
2. Turn a reference video into reusable assets. Upload a video for an automatic frame-by-frame breakdown of its shots, visual style, and music. The results are organized into reference materials you can reuse. This breakdown feature doesn’t use compute credits.
3. Match references automatically. Seedance 2.5 supports up to 50 multimodal references. Place your assets on the canvas, then use smart referencing to match them to your prompt. No need to manually @ every asset.
4. Build longer videos with an editable workflow. Seedance 2.5 generates up to 30 seconds at a time. The extended workflow shown here supports videos up to 5 minutes, keeping intermediate clips and node connections availble for further edits.

Create an AI action scene with sweeping brushstrokes, swirling ink, and a Chinese ink painting aesthetic.
How to recreate this effect👇
1. Prepare a character reference sheet and a visual reference sheet showing the ink textures, brushstrokes, and compositions you want.
2. Use both as references in your AI video tool. Add the prompt template to guide the character’s movements, the giant brush, the ink effects, and the camera movement.

Make your illustration turn into a cute 3D version with a tap!
How to recreate this effect👇
1. Record yourself tapping an illustration, then grab a still frame at the moment your finger touches it.
2. Upload that frame to an AI image tool. Use the prompt template to create a 3D version of the illustration.
3. Use the original still as your start frame and the 3D image as your end frame, then generate the transition.

The Knight Cat trend is viral!
How to make it👇
1.Create a new canvas. Import reference video and use frame breakdown to study shots, motion and color style. Generate a color palette for consistent tones.
2.Use the script generator to create your story. Try “knight cat battles a dragon” to get a full script with scenes and characters.
3.Build or edit your character in Character Lab, tweak appearance and voice.
4.Use Director Mode to get storyboards and video prompts. Follow my prompt template for better results.
Generate your final video. Let’s check the output!

Shoot in any ordinary outdoor location, then instantly swap it for any scene you imagine! You can also adjust lighting, backgrounds and props in your video with this workflow.

Even videos with complex camera movements & human actions work perfectly.

I’m using depth motion capture. It extracts camera movement, character positioning, actions and spatial relations from your footage. Turn your raw clip into a clean reference asset and cut down visual artifacts.

This one‑shot video effect is super fun!
Works great for all kinds of products, and you can also use it as your vlog opening.

How to make it👇
Step 1: Prepare your object image. Convert the object image into three‑view drawing for more stable object geometry.

Step 2: Generate video. Import the object image, enable full‑reference mode and use my prompt.
⚠️Important note: Start your prompt by stating the object is blank at the beginning. Lines and patterns only appear after the needle or scraper sweeps across.

What if plain city streets got transformed into blockbuster‑worthy cinematic aerial shots from map footage?

This AI‑powered visualization reworks real aerial imagery into polished photoreal renders, while faithfully keeping the original urban road network intact.

Beyond stunning visuals, it shows how AI is reshaping the way architects, urban planners and visual artists present their creative projects.

How to create a fun inflatable‑expanding effect for ordinary objects?
Great for product showcases and also works as vlog openings.

How‑to👇
Two key points for your prompt description:
‑The inflating and expanding state of the product
‑Direction of camera movement

⚠️Pro tip:
Include cars, pedestrians and buildings in the frame as environmental references for a stronger giant‑object impact.

2 handy tips ✨
How to fix dirty & noisy outputs from Image2 generation? Here are two tested solutions I use all the time.

Tip 1: Use this reference prompt.
Works decently, yet colors and textures often drift away from your source image. Total nightmare for perfectionists 😮‍💨

Want a better workaround?
Tip 2, found after tons of tests: feed the exact‑same source image into generation.
Great detail preservation, output looks solid. Only downside is longer waiting time.

📖 2‑Step Tutorial: Create outdoor ad effects with building photos + posters

1️⃣ Mount the poster onto the building wall.
Head over to Jimeng and select image generation.
Import your building photo and poster asset, use my reference prompt.
And there you go, your rendered output is ready.

2️⃣ Animate the poster.
Import the original image and your rendered result. Use model 2.5, set duration to 5s or 6s.
Write prompts to make the poster unfold downwards. Done!
If you want more dynamism, you can make the poster flip upward then fall back down.

You can apply this exact workflow for other projects.
