SURRENDER AND OBEDIENCE

This was the theme of this past year since I got baptized… one year ago today!!🕊️🌊🤍

On this day I publicly declared my allegiance to Jesus and honestly no one prepared me for what was to come! Life completely challenged me, stretched my faith and made me grow more than I thought I would.

Every day has been a continuous choice to lay everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) at the altar and abandon my ways for his. Because it is always. so. much. better. It’s better because of who he is!

Time after time, he’s showed me his wonderful character.

He is…
gentle
kind
forgiving
compassionate
loyal
generous
slow to anger

It’s an honor to serve Jesus and I pray that I never stop learning and that my life would be an honest reflection of him!!! by @libby_arnold23

One year with the boy I met in Hawaii

This year with Mitchell has been so sweet, and joyful and exciting, but also challenging! Being in a healthy relationship for what felt like the first time revealed so much about me. He helped me unlearn things I didn’t even realize I was holding onto, and in turn made me love parts of myself I forgot about. We feel like kids together🥹 He is steady, kind, patient, always making me laugh and loving me in a way that’s Christ-like.

Loving each other from far away wasn’t always easy, thousands of miles traveled, hundreds of hours on FaceTime, lots of hard goodbyes were said, but it was always so worth it. We grew so much together.

And now, drumroll please…. praise God, that season is ending because life update: I’m moving to Cincinnati!!!!!!!

No more countdowns or airports or 7 hour drives, I’ll be just a quick 5 minutes drive down the street. I’m so excited I can’t even contain it🤩🤩🤩 January 23rd can’t come soon enough. I love you honey I can’t wait to do normal life with you and keep adventuring with you🤍 thank you for loving me so well by @libby_arnold23
