Theee months ago I was finally able to bring myself to pack up much of Pip’s items and reached out to Trish at Perfect Imperfections Rescue to see if she could use his ramp and other items. In talking she had a pup who was in need of fostering, and how could I say no? This little guy came to her at 8 weeks old with hind leg concerns, the cap to his femur was not fusing properly. Thankfully that was healing well as he grew but then the crazy boy fractured his jaw and she wanted to get him into a foster home where he could rest and heal. Charlotte & Olive quickly fell in love (as did I), and even Hexi tolerated him. I had not seen Charlotte this content since before Pip or Winston died. This sealed the deal, Pike was to officially become part of our little family. Meet Pike, 5lb of fur, fun & furry! #maltese #perfectimperfections #rescuepuppy by @libbyhitchcock

Newest finished object, test knit of the #livtee blanket @made__by.marii This polo is knit in DK yarn and includes a double knit color and set in button band. I unintentionally ended up with less ease than planned (not a pattern issue but me issue) & love it! Thank you Mari for including me in this test, I adore my new top! It took me 5 months, but I finally found the courage to go through and choose my favorites from Pip’s Celebration of Life photo session. It was so much harder than I expected—not only because I miss him more than words can say, but because he just didn’t look like the fun-loving, wild, and crazy dog I shared my life with for nearly 13 years. Those pictures captured a different moment, but they are still such a precious reminder of the love we shared. I am so grateful to have these memories, and I absolutely love how they turned out despite how difficult it was to look through them. Thank you, Lee, for making it happen on such short notice, even through a blizzard. I will cherish these photos forever. ❤️ @loveleepawsphotography by @libbyhitchcock
