okay hiiii, since we have some new faces around here, i guess it’s time for a proper introduction. 💋

i’m libby! mom, content manager, former photojournalist, wedding & portrait photographer, former venue owner, and event & wedding planner. i’ve worn a few different hats, to say the least. 😂

these days, you’ll find me creating content for @hometownjams , dreaming up new ideas, and probably going down a rabbit hole about something i absolutely did not need to research for three hours.

there’s a lot more to me than a job title, but we’ll save some of that for later. 😉

anyway, if you’re new here, introduce yourself! i wanna know who’s hanging out on this side of the internet with me. 🫶🏼

There’s a speakeasy hiding inside an 1899 schoolhouse in Valpo and detention has never looked this good 🍸

Girls night at the Grand Gardner - vintage cocktails off the Dean’s List menu (that espresso martini 👀) plus mocktail options that don’t feel like an afterthought.

Moody lighting, card catalogs, and a principal’s office you actually want to get called into. 10/10, would ditch the bedtime routine again.

Mom and dad finally go on a date night after who knows how long…and it was absolutely what the doctor ordered.

We made our way out of town to check out @radiuscrownpoint which didn’t disappoint. We had their small plates of carne asada tacos and their baja shrimp tacos 🤤

Then we made our way down to @radiusbookclub and we could have stayed for hours. The atmosphere, the live music, the service, and the martinis were all beyond what we expected. 10/10 if you haven’t been on a date in a while, or even if you have 😉 by @libbyintheregion

“You just post on social media all day?”

Oh, you have NO idea lol.

I still can’t believe I get to do this and call it my job. 🥹🖤 taken in Valparaiso, Indiana by @libbyintheregion

Every team needs two girls with cameras, content calendars and way too many ideas. 😂

“Wait… I have an idea” is basically our love language at this point. 👀

As a self-proclaimed concert junkie, the best advice I can offer you is this: never skip the opening artists. 🎶

You just might discover your new favorite before everyone else does.

@hometownjams always stacks the lineup with local talent, emerging artists, and some of country music’s best-kept secrets who are this close to blowing up. And the best part? You get to be the person who says, “Oh yeah, I saw them before they blew up.” 😏

@jakebanfieldmusic is one you’re going to want to keep on your radar. “Lasso” is already a mega hit, but do yourself a favor and go stream “You Right Now” immediately.

Then come back and let us know how obsessed you are. 🤠🎶 by @libbyintheregion

Outdoor concert season: officially clocked out. ✌️

One last @hometownjams show under the open sky, and then we’re trading lawn chairs for… whatever people wear to indoor concerts. 😂🎶 taken in Bulldog Park Crown Point by @libbyintheregion
