2 years. 2 whole years. 2 halloweens. 2 Christmas’s. 3 of your birthdays, and 2 of mine. Thousands of late night calls and FaceTimes, so many adventures and memories. 2 years. 730 days. 104 weeks. 17,529 hours. 1,051,796 minutes. All this time I have spent with you and every second more my love grows. 2 years with my absolute favorite person in the world and the only person to completely have my whole heart. I love you more than anything, from the edge of the universe and back. I will never be anything short of amazed of how I somehow got the best boy in the world. More than anything I wish for these 2 years to turn into 5, then 10, then 50, with kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. This is a late post because it was one I was dreading and honestly didn’t know how to go about. If you are apart of this beautiful place you know that the last tower was now taken down and terminus is starting to fade away. The place that is.
The community that has been built there will never fade away and I think that’s one thing that makes this whole thing so bittersweet. Back in 2014 my family found terminus while driving on 41 like most people who came across terminus. From that day on terminus would become one of the biggest things that shaped me into who I am today. Through leadership, family, and just good old wakeboarding and god I have been brought up through the beautiful sport of wakeboarding and beautiful place of terminus.
If you were ever lucky enough to come across terminus, please comment your story or dm me personally because I would love to hear them. For those who don’t know terminus was McKenna, Jackson, and my first jobs and also terminus is what raised us for the majority of our lives. The tears falling on the screen while writting this is what makes me know never to take the beautiful things for granted and to always cherish everything you love because it can be taken away in an instant. But for the bright side, terminus can and tribe is stronger than ever, and for all the kids parents who may be reading this, the terminus teen group have already starting planning some things for the spring and summer. So, let’s keep this family together, bring your boats, bring your family, bring whatever and this summer we will keep our terminus, not the cables and pro shop, but the best part, the family together. I will miss this place forever, but forgiveness is the lords way and I have come to terms with it now. I love you terminus tribe, coworkers, and just everyone who has walked through those doors. One year with my favorite person. This has genuinely been the best year of my life. Not one time have I ever regretted texting you that one day asking if you need answers to the yearbook packet. You have saved my life. You have brought me to the lord and I am forever grateful for that. You have brought me so much happiness and peace and I genuinely don’t know where I would be right now without you. My love grows everyday for you and will continue to grow.
