Holding another human as they pass is an ineffable experience. "I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always. As long as I'm living my baby you'll be."1:39pm, Ezra crossed over into the world of angels while in my arms. It was the first and last time I held my baby. Leaving the hospital empty handed created a vacuum in my heart by @libbykoop

While listening to this podcast, I found myself reconnecting with this moment of abundant love, peace, and spirit… even in the midst of intense grief and change. I share with the hope of normalizing the pause to reconnect with what makes you feel whole and centered, shaking off the dust that settles on your reflection of divine light.https://open.spotify.com/episode/6NqrjWtNI3lkM1EENEDGua?si=hOx0jYF1S76E6I2yDhbIe by @libbykoop

Sometimes you feel a certain exhaustion that sleep cant touch. Emotional rest isn’t checking out. It’s checking in. Working on this… hear me out. It’s being honest about what you need, what you can give, and when you’ve reached your limit. (Try not to compare yourself to others because we are unique in our individual emotional bandwidth). When we ignore those signals and keep performing to meet expectations, stress rises and exhaustion follows. When we honor them, we protect our energy—especially during the holidays.Unseen emotional labor is still labor. No matter the arena, if you’re always managing moods, smoothing dynamics, or keeping the peace, it makes sense that you’re tired. (::ahem:: where my teacher friends at! 😊)Ways to practice emotional rest this December:• Decide your limits before you’re depleted• Let joy and grief coexist—both are allowed• Release the pressure to make everything perfect• Build in small moments of quiet recoveryEmotional rest isn’t selfish. It’s self-respect.Much love, fam. 🫶⛄️🎄🎁 by @libbykoop
