A place I pass by often here in Plateau. Local métro station for the subway (station Mont-Royal) and Jean Coutu (ma pharmacie). High noon means the bells are ringing at Sanctuaire du St Sacrament! by @libbyruns

We are well into fall here! A view down my street here in Montreal. by @libbyruns

Because time with friends is important! Lunch with @cheetahinthecity at @cheztameremtl . Also, this sandwich? Amazing. The “Madré Raquel” - smoked chicken, avocado, cactus, aji Amarillo, plantain chips. by @libbyruns

A week in Texas handling personal business but I was really happy for a couple moments my friends dragged me away from it to hang out. Thank you to Gordon and Shannon for a delicious dinner treat at Gloria’s after I said I was missing margaritas and guacamole! by @libbyruns

Headed back home to Montréal! This week felt crazy trying to figure out how to clear out a house that had 10 years of memories, items, and furniture (when we left 2 years ago, we didn’t know how soon we would be back so we truly just left everything as it was. Every trip back has been hyper focused on work, so nothing was sorted or cleaned!). Interviewing estate sale companies and finding anything sentimental we will want to keep while knowing we have zero room to keep anything that takes up space. It was a productive week of preparation to have the house emptied by end of year while living out of the country the majority of the time. I need a teleportation device or a clone, but I’m making it work! I’ll be back in 47 days to prepare for the 10th year of the wonderful Dinosaur Valley Endurance Run!! by @libbyruns

I’ve passed this mural a handful of times before but didn’t realize it was a @kevinledo !! Getting to know the murals in Montréal with the existence of so much public art and then starting to have favorite artists amongst them is one of the most joyful things about living here for me this past 2 years! 💜 by @libbyruns

I surprised Steve with breakfast this morning by taking a quick 10 minute walk to finally try out @camsdejeuner which has been getting amazing reviews. Two sandwiches - first their Bacon/Cheese/Egg with spicy mayo, jalapeños, and smoked cheese, then their SLT Matin which had green onion mayo, pickled red onions, jalapeños, sausage, lettuce, tomato, and smoked cheese. All on spelt and poppyseed bread made in house! It was all so delicious, and Steve loved the surprise. A nice moment before I go out of town for 6 days and then he immediately leaves for 6 days! by @libbyruns

Happy I took Spanish growing up. It means this mural can be so much more impactful for me now. Live with compassion, remember that we are living on stolen land, and put yourselves in the shoes of others.

This is very specific plea to those in Plateau à Montréal. Vivant Pizza just had a soft opening right around the corner from me. I was le premier client for their opening today! Delicious Roman style pizza and made in 3 sizes - perfect since I came alone. And happy they had a Lambrusco on their bubbly red wine list!!! Brother and sister owned - she works the front, he’s making the pizzas in the back.

Les Premiers Vendredis food festival - once a month at the Olympic Stadium Esplanade during the summer. This month was Latin-themed. So so good. We had esquites, seafood paella, Colombian cheese arepa, and a corn empanada with chicken. @lespremiersvendredis by @libbyruns
