Interview -

• How did your artistic journey begin? Wie begann deine künstlerische Reise?

Always creative in a wide variety of crafts and handicrafts, I started in 2011 to try to see if I would find myself in painting as well and first attended the art school in Neuss. Participation in courses at the adult education centre followed, while at the same time I also attended various painting workshops and seminars with established, well-known artists. Over the years, I got to know many techniques, materials and procedures that have been used in my creative style ever since.

• Where do you draw inspiration for your abstract works? Woher nimmst du die Inspiration für deine abstrakten Werke?

Of course, I observe the latest trends and try to approach them in my own way and with the help of my experience, simply by trying out whether there is a satisfactory result for me.
On the other hand, I also give free rein to my own intuition by experimentally setting out to create a basis with a wide variety of structure-forming materials from nature and everyday life, with which I then compose a coherent work for me using my selected acrylic paints, inks, pigments, various pens, etc. It pleases me every time again to go a path that is exciting and unknown even for me until the completion of the picture and to be surprised at what is possible! -> Link in bio for more

A wonderful and sweeping conclusion to the art festival in Emmerich/Rhine. It was a great experience and I am so happy to have been there also to have been a part of it! Thank you so much to the Organizer Raimund Seidl from Artfactory Graz, to the Museums Curator Christiane van Haaren and to the City Emmerich!/Ein wundervoller und ergreifender Abschluss des Artfestivals in Emmerich/Rhein! Es war ein großartiges Erlebnis und ich freue mich so, ein Part dieser zwei Ausstellungen gewesen zu sein! Vielen Dank an den Veranstalter Raimund Seidl von der Artfactory Graz, an Christiane van Haaren als Museumskuratorin und die Stadt Emmerich! -

Gebürtige Münsteranerin, entdeckte Beate Limbrock 2011 durch einen Kurs an der Kunstschule Neuss ihre Leidenschaft für die Malerei – seitdem malt sie unter dem Kürzel „Libea“. Statt sich auf ein Genre festzulegen, lebt sie bewusst ihr Vielfalt-Motto: Von Realismus über Impressionismus bis zu abstrakter und experimenteller Malerei arbeitet sie mit Acryl, Pigmenten, Strukturmaterialien wie Sand oder Steinen und Collagen – wichtig ist ihr vor allem, dass ein Motiv sie anspricht, dann entstehe fast automatisch ein regelrechter „Malzwang“. Ausgestellt hat sie unter anderem im Rheinland Klinikum Dormagen sowie bei Artfactory-Graz.

Ich bin mit einer Auswahl meiner Werke dabei und direkt in der ersten Reihe zu treffen. Kommt vorbei und genießt meine Welt der Farben, Formen und Strukturen. Eine menschliche Existenz in Frieden, Freiheit und Demokratie ist das höchste Gut!!! Warum führen manche „Menschen“ Kriege, verbreiten Hass und Hetze gegeneinander??? Lasst uns uns für den Frieden und unsere Demokratie einsetzen! Menschen seid menschlich!!! Alle wollen doch nichts anderes als glücklich sein! Das verbindet uns doch! Museum Küppersmühle, Duisburg, Ausstellung des spanischen Künstlers Jaume Plensa - Es war ein großartiges und für mich unvergessliches Erlebnis! Sowohl die Kunst von Plensa, als auch die Architektur des Gebäudes sind genial und sicher mehr als einen Besuch wert! -
