Israel must end its illegal occupation and apartheid.

It must withdraw from all Palestinian territories, West Bank, East Jerusalem, Gaza, and dismantle illegal settlements. Palestinians’ right of return, per UN Resolution 194, must be upheld.

The Gaza blockade must be lifted, and humanitarian aid must flow freely. Israel must halt arbitrary arrests, collective punishment, and extrajudicial killings, holding war criminals accountable.

Palestinians’ right to self-determination, equality, and freedom must be recognized, with full compliance to UN resolutions and international law.

Celebrate this small victory, but know: the fight is far from over. by @liberation.proj

I was out canvassing this weekend, trying to connect the dots between the climate crisis and the extreme weather we’re seeing. People aren’t ready to have that conversation, or don’t want to.

But the reality is, coastal communities are on the front lines, and not everyone has the money to rebuild, let alone move. As erosion accelerates and extreme weather gets worse, more people will lose homes, livelihoods, and any sense of security.

This coming year could be a preview of what climate change has in store. Meanwhile, billionaire-owned media keeps downplaying or ignoring the crisis while the consequences pile up in real time.

We can keep pretending this isn’t happening, or we can face reality and prepare for the worst. Because the climate crisis isn’t waiting for people to be ready to talk about it.

The Israeli occupation “army” has sealed off the Christian village of Taybeh in the West Bank, preventing residents from entering or leaving the village.

35% of Taybeh is designated Area B, under IDF military control, and the remaining 65% is under both civil and military Israeli control.

For generations of Palestinians, the olive harvest has been the pulse of economic survival and a living link to their ancestors. The olive tree, resilient and deep-rooted, is a symbol of who they are as a people and of their connection to the land. In recent weeks, the situation across the West Bank has gotten way worse.

They urgently need independent international protection force, or an expanded civilian observer presence, deployed directly to the agricultural zones most exposed to attack, including villages like Qira, throughout the West Bank during the olive harvest.
