Our U15 Boys ended the qualification stage of the FIFA U15 World Cup and Festival in Azerbaijan with defeats to Costa Rica (9-2) and Morocco (5-1) in their final two games, finishing 3rd in Group F with seven points from five matches.

They now move into Tier 3, where they'll be paired against opponents that finished 3rd in their respective groups.

We are grateful to FIFA for this opportunity, which gives our young players invaluable international experience as they continue to grow.

LFA Welcomes @fifa Surplus Solidarity Programme

Liberia Football Association (LFA) President Mustapha I. Raji has praised FIFA for the newly announced FIFA Surplus Solidarity Programme, calling it a landmark commitment to football development worldwide.

The programme will provide USD 25 million to each member association for the 2027-2030 cycle, bringing total global development investment to approximately USD 6.4 billion.

"On behalf of the Liberia Football Association, I thank FIFA President Gianni Infantino and the FIFA Council for the FIFA Surplus Solidarity Programme.

"This is a historic increase, and it arrives at the right time for federations like ours that have invested in pathways, not just promises.

"We look forward to working with FIFA to ensure that the criteria, to be finalised in December, reflect the realities of smaller associations, so this funding reaches the grassroots where it matters most."

Raji also thanked FIFA for its continued support for football development in Liberia at all levels, and for giving boys and girls the space to play. He pointed to the upcoming FIFA U15 World Cup and Festival in Azerbaijan, where Liberia will be represented by the Henry Nyema Brown TDS Academy.
