A few weeks ago, I spent the weekend in New York City at The Library Hotel @libraryhotel. If you’re a book lover looking for your next NYC getaway, I highly recommend checking it out. #partner

And if you’re planning a visit in September or October, you definitely need to know about their Thrills & Chills package.

For these two months, The Library Hotel is collaborating with HarperCollins @harpercollins on a package that includes a two-night stay, books, and two drinks at Bookmarks Lounge @bookmarkslounge, the hotel’s gorgeous rooftop bar.

You get seven books to take home, two drinks with a rooftop view, and two nights staying in one of the most bookish hotels in NYC.

The Library Hotel is located on Madison Avenue in the heart of NYC, just a short walk from the New York Public Library and Bryant Park, and close to Grand Central Terminal and Fifth Avenue. Times Square is also just a short trip away.

I loved being able to spend the day exploring NYC and then come back to a hotel where I could literally surround myself with books.

If you’re looking for an affordable NYC stay with an amazing location, save this one! 📚🗽

If you’re planning a trip to New York and want to stay somewhere that feels special without paying luxury hotel prices, I’d definitely put Library Hotel NYC on your list!

The location is such a win! You’re just a few minutes walk from the New York Public Library and Bryant Park, around 10 minutes from Times Square, and Central Park is roughly a 20-minute walk away. Grand Central is also just minutes away, making it super easy to explore the city!

The hotel itself is such a unique experience. 📖 Each of the 60 rooms has its own literary theme, with books and artwork throughout, and the hotel has a collection of 6,000+ books.

There is also a 24-hour Reading Room, where guests can relax with books, coffee, tea, fresh fruit and snacks!! Such a nice escape after a full day walking around NYC ✨

My recent stay at The Library Hotel @libraryhotel in New York City was basically my dream bookish getaway wrapped up in one beautiful, cozy hotel. #hosted

Located on Madison Avenue, The Library Hotel puts you right in the middle of so much of what makes NYC unforgettable. You’re just a short walk from the New York Public Library, close to Grand Central Terminal and Fifth Avenue, and not far from Times Square. And if you’re lucky, you might even catch an epic basketball game while you’re in town which is exactly what we did!

But let’s talk about the REAL reason book lovers need to know about this place.

There are books everywhere throughout the hotel. Each floor has a different bookish genre/theme.

The Thrills & Chills package is coming this September & October, and it is basically a book lover’s fall fantasy.

The package includes a two-night stay, a curated set of 7 books in collaboration with HarperCollins @harpercollins, AND 2 drinks at Bookmarks Lounge @bookmarkslounge, the hotel’s gorgeous rooftop bar.

And you’re in NYC. I mean…what more do we need to discuss?

My Dream NYC Staycation 📚✨🌃

A block away from the iconic New York Public Library and around the corner from Grand Central Terminal is the Library Hotel. Each room is based off a different genre in the Dewey Decimal System with 50-150 books to browse while you stay there!

With a classic American bistro on the ground floor, a quiet reading room with complimentary drinks and pastries, and a rooftop bar and lounge with literary themed drinks- you have no reason to leave! But if you do- it is so centrally located that you can walk or take a quick train anywhere!

I am so serious when I say that when I created this page two and a half years ago- staying at this hotel was on the vision board. It was a pinch me moment to actually get to staycation there!

Best hotels in New York City? When looking for a NYC hotel, I always recommend prioritizing location. The Library Hotel is located just a block away from Bryant Park and the New York Public Library, a quiet corner of Midtown. This is the perfect hotel near Times Square.

Here’s another NYC to-do list for a book lovers! For Part 1, visit @lflhunter_rva and see the pinned reel!

Any reader should stay at @libraryhotel when visiting the city. Themed rooms, a reading room with complimentary snacks and drinks, and a rooftop bar called @bookmarkslounge are details that set the tone of the trip right away!

A short walk away is the @nypl (in part 1), but also the @themorganlibrary which is a stunning collection and gallery.

@hadestown sets stories to life with grace and so much humanity. It’s a sad but beautiful story with hope.

@albertinebooks is a gorgeous French-language bookstore and library that feels magical.

@catsjellicleball is closing soon, so scurry to see it! It takes Eliot’s poems and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical to the ballroom runway. It’s the most fun I’ve ever had at the theatre.

Walk the Literary Walk in @centralparknyc to feel pure NYC moments and to learn about some literary giants.

True community culture can be found in local libraries. The 53rd Street branch of @nypl is a reader’s oasis in a busy city.

The Rockefeller Center location of @mcnallyjackson is also right in the bustle of it all, but it’s bright, organized, and inviting.

@svenskakyrkannewyork is easy to miss if you aren’t looking for it. Peaceful and artistic, this spot is beautiful.

If you truly want to step inside a story, @masqueradenyc is the most unique and immersive theatre you can find. Live out the iconic story of the Phantom of the Opera while feeling like a character. We were lucky enough to see my friend @austin__colby in this iconic role, but all the artists involved in this show are extremely talented.
