⭐️PROJECT HAIL MARY: TWO-AND-A-HALF STARS⭐️
I did it!! I finally finished it!! I thank those of you who have been on the journey has I’ve gotten through it.
I have a lot of thoughts:
1. My initial thought was that the writing style was very high school literature-esque. I could totally see a class of language arts students reading this. Do with that what you will!
2. The concept of the story is cool—but the pages upon pages upon pages of scientific explanations got a little old and quite confusing.
3. I think this will translate well to screen and I do want to see the movie! That was my entire purpose in reading the book.
4. I can appreciate that a lot of people loved this book. I just don’t think it was for me!! I prefer a more girly swirly read, and this was the opposite of that.
5. Before you say it—I know, I know! The audiobook apparently is much better. But I’m not much of an audiobook girl!
